Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Police, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), continued its intensified action against organized crime under the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign. On Day 143 of the operation, police teams conducted targeted raids at identified locations linked to gangster associates across various parts of the state.

As part of the statewide crackdown, authorities arrested 358 individuals and apprehended three proclaimed offenders. Police also recovered six weapons during the operation, dealing another blow to criminal networks operating in Punjab.
Officials stated that the campaign is focused on dismantling gangster syndicates, tracking their associates, and preventing criminal activities through intelligence-based operations and coordinated enforcement measures. Raids were carried out at locations that had been previously identified and mapped by law enforcement agencies.

According to Punjab Police, the latest action has taken the total number of arrests under the campaign to 36,381 since its launch. The force said the sustained operations demonstrate its commitment to curbing organized crime and maintaining law and order across the state.
