IND W vs PAK W: The Indian women’s cricket team’s all-rounder player Deepti Sharma now holds a unique record in her name, which is unrivalled by any other player, be it female or male. Dipti is 25 years old and is an important member of the women’s cricket team.

What is the unique record held by Deepti Sharma?

Dipti Sharma is the only cricketer from India who has played more than 50 consecutive ODI and T20 matches. No other player from the Indian team, either male or female, has managed to achieve this feat. Between 2016 and 2021, Dipti played 54 consecutive ODIs for the Indian women’s cricket team. Furthermore, she played 50 consecutive T20 matches for the team from 2020 to 2023, with her 50th T20 match taking place against Pakistan in the 2023 T20 World Cup.

Dipti is a right-handed offbreak bowler and a left-handed batter. She is also a competent fielder and has a fast throw, making it difficult for batsmen to steal runs.

So far in her ODI career, Dipti has played 80 matches, scoring 1891 runs with an average of 36.36 and taking 91 wickets with an economy rate of 4.18. In her T20 career, she has appeared in 87 matches, accumulating 914 runs at a strike rate of 106.52 and taking 96 wickets with an economy rate of 6.08.

Deepti likely to impress in WPL auction

The Women’s Premier League auction is set to take place tomorrow, February 13th and all franchises are expected to have their eyes on Deepti Sharma, a key player on the Indian team. Given her reputation, she is likely to be one of the most expensive players in the auction.
