T20 World Cup 2022: Prior to Wednesday’s vital T20 World Cup match against Bangladesh, the team’s star batter and former India captain Virat Kohli spent time with struggling opener KL Rahul during practise.

Kohli was spotted coaching KL Rahul and giving him shot selection advice in a practise session video that quickly became popular online. Rahul’s front-foot press is one of his weaknesses in the T20 World Cup, and Kohli was seen assisting Rahul in fixing it.

Ahead of India’s forthcoming T20 World Cup encounter against Bangladesh at the Adelaide Oval, Kohli was spotted watching Rahul practise his batting in the nets.

With scores of 4, 9, and 9 in the three matches India has played in the Super 12s so far, the Kartnataka opener has had a difficult time with the bat thus far in this competition.

Rahul Dravid, India’s head coach, said on the eve of India’s match against Bangladesh at Adelaide Oval that the team think-tank has no concerns over the form of their first-choice opener and that they have full faith in Rahul to perform well.
