Viral IPL Video: The Indian Premier League has been a constant source of entertainment for cricket lovers across the globe. It is nothing less than a festival in India. Celebrated and enjoyed similarly. IPL is famous not only for quality cricket but also for its iconic moments caught on camera, which make it unique. One such incident involving well-known wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik and left-handed batter Shikhar Dhawan is lately gaining popularity on social media.

Dhawan & Karthik's hilarious incident

The viral video clip is from the 25th match of the IPL’s 2021 season. Dinesh Karthik was the captain and wicketkeeper of the Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR scored a total of 155 runs in the first innings, in response, Shikhar Dhawan was leading the charge for Delhi Capitals as the opening batter.

While chasing down the target a point came when Dinesh Karthik tried to stump out Shikhar Dhawan. Karthik made an appeal but Dhawan’s foot was within the line. To this DK said something to him, most probably he asked Dhawan, why his foot was within the line. Dhawan’s reaction to this is gaining popularity across social media platforms. Dhawan in a way collapsed on the ground on his knees and instantly stood up.

Eventually, Delhi Capitals chased down the target with the help of Prithvi Shaw’s knock of 82 runs in 41 balls, securing a victory by seven wickets over Kolkata Knight Riders.
