Madhya Pradesh To Raze Homes Of Suspects Behind Viral Man-On-Leash Video

Three Muslim men have been charged under the strict National Security Act (NSA) for allegedly telling a guy to “bark like a dog” while holding him on a leash. Vijay Ramchandani, the victim, said in his police report that he was coerced into becoming a Islam.

Based on the complaint, three males have been detained: Sameer, Sajid, and Faizan Lal.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, has ordered that the three be punished severely and that their homes be demolished. Under the NSA, they may also be detained for a period of up to 12 months, or possibly longer if new evidence is presented.

In the 48-second short clip, a guy on a leash is told to “become a dog” and apologise while sitting on his haunches with his hands folded.

They asked me to convert to Islam and start eating beef while beating me up. The FIR, or First Information Report, that Vijay Ramchandani filed stated, “They said I was a coward and they might have killed me that day.

He claimed to know the three people who allegedly stood in his way, smacked him, and searched his pockets: Faizan, Sahil, and Samir.

Vijay’s complaint stated, “Sameer was standing at a distance and was saying kill him, search the pockets thoroughly, you will find something.”

Three additional men — Bilal, Mufid, and Sahil Baccha — arrived in a car at the same time and allegedly began hitting him as well. According to the FIR, they threatened him with a knife, took him somewhere else on a motorbike, stole the keys to his scooter, as well as his two phones.

He claims that two of the those involved put a belt around his neck, kicked him, and abused his mother and sister.

The victim surrendered $70–$80 and two phones after they threatened him with knives, according to the FIR.

Vijay claimed that the suspect also threatened his mother and brother over the phone. He said that the accused kept bugging him and demanding money.

“I kept quiet due to fear but am fed up of their harassment,” he said, demanding strict punishment.

“I saw the video. It seemed very serious. Such behaviour against another person is reprehensible. I have asked the Police Commissioner to investigate the incident, take action, and deliver results within 24 hours,” Narottam Mishra said.
