The outrage over the Beawar-Bijainagar minor girls' sexual exploitation and forced religious conversion case is now spreading to other districts of Rajasthan. Following protests in Beawar and Ajmer, people in Bhilwara have also taken to the streets, demanding strict action against the accused. Several arrests have been made, including the mastermind behind the gang that allegedly lured minor girls, exploited them, blackmailed them, and forced them to convert.

Call for Rajasthan Bandh

Since the case surfaced, public protests have intensified, with strong demands for harsh legal action against the perpetrators. On Sunday, members of the Hindu community held a massive protest rally in Beawar, warning that if strict action is not taken within 48 hours, they would call for a statewide Rajasthan Bandh.

Beawar Markets Shut Down in Protest

Following Sunday's protest, markets in Beawar remained completely shut on Monday. Key commercial hubs such as Shradhanand Bazaar, Pali Bazaar, Mahavir Bazaar, Agrasen Bazaar, Bharat Mata Circle, Ajmeri Gate, Surajpol Gate, Chang Gate, Sendra Road, College Road, Mewari Gate, Sabzi Mandi, and Anaj Mandi saw an unprecedented shutdown. Protesters vowed that their movement would continue until justice is served to the victims.

Bhilwara Joins the Protest

The outrage over the Bijainagar incident also spread to Bhilwara, where people took to the streets on Monday. In Gulabpura, a complete shutdown was observed until 1 PM, severely impacting daily life. Thousands of people marched in an anger rally, demanding a thorough investigation into the involvement of locals from Gulabpura in the Bijainagar case.

With protests gaining momentum, authorities are under pressure to take swift action against the accused and ensure justice for the victims.
