The new update will enhance the accessibility for users. The new features in the pipeline is a permanent search bar that will be placed on the home page of android app store.

As per Android Police reports, the tech giant is testing a permanent search bar for the home page of Google Play Store that wil make searching for apps, games and book a much easier task for users as the search bar will be permanently visible on the screen.

As per reports, android app store app comes with an experimental flag -SearchHome_enable_search_home- which places the search bar on the home page of Playstore permanently. The company is performing the testing for this feature with few selected users.

The present interface of Google Play store doesn't display the search bar when users scroll down to navigate apps on the screen and if someone wants to search any app or game, he/she needs to scroll to the top again which is what the update is going to change.

Once the update is pushed for all, a permanent search bar will be pinned on screen and will be placed on the top of other content displaying on the homepage of playstore. It will be displayed on all the tab navigated by the user.
