Vande Bharat Train: Good news is on the horizon for passengers travelling between Bihar and Delhi. According to reports, a brand-new Vande Bharat Train and an Amrit Bharat Train are expected to be launched soon. These additions to the railway network are likely to be announced just before the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. If all goes well, both trains will significantly cut down travel time and boost convenience for lakhs of passengers.
PM Modi Likely to Flag Off New Trains on This Date
As per media sources, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Madhubani on 24 April 2025. During this visit, he may green-flag the Amrit Bharat Train from Saharsa to Delhi. This train will benefit lakhs of daily commuters between the two regions. Alongside, there’s a strong buzz about the introduction of a Vande Bharat Train connecting Muzaffarpur and Delhi, offering a much faster travel option.
New Vande Bharat Train Route - Stations Likely to Be Covered
Media reports suggest that the proposed Vande Bharat Train route will pass through key stations, including:
- Saharsa
- Muzaffarpur
- Patliputra
- DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction)
- Delhi
This carefully planned route is expected to connect major areas in Bihar to the national capital in record time.
Travel Time to Be Cut Down by Several Hours
Currently, a train journey from Saharsa to Delhi takes around 20 hours. But the upcoming Vande Bharat Train could bring this down to just 13 hours. That’s a big relief for regular travellers.
If successful, this train will become the first high-speed Vande Bharat service between Bihar and Delhi, transforming the way people travel on this busy route.
An official announcement is still awaited, but excitement is already building for this game-changing development.
