The huge success of Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge has brought a lot of attention to its cast. However, not everything being said online is true. Actor Vivek Sinha, who played a small but powerful role in the film, has now spoken up about rumours regarding his fees.

As Dhurandhar 2 continues to break records, Sinha shared a video on social media to clear the confusion. He addressed viral posts that claimed he earned between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 1 crore for his role.

Reacting to these claims, he said, “Bhai, itna paisa nahi mila hai kasamse. Yeh sab mat dalo (Brother, I haven’t received that much money, I swear. Don’t put all these things).”

He also revealed that such posts created problems for him. Many people started messaging him and asking for financial help, assuming he had earned a huge amount.

Sinha explained that while he did get paid well, it was not as high as people believed. He also spoke about how quickly that money was spent due to living costs in Mumbai.

The actor said, “Mujhe Dhurandhar se paisa mila hai, achcha paisa mila. Jo expected the amount tha woh mila. Lekin utna paisa nahi mila, aur joh paisa mila tha khatam ho chuka hai. Mumbai mein rehta hoon bhai, aur bahot kharche hai Mumbai mein. Toh Dhurandhar wala saara paisa khatam ho chuka hai (I got money for Dhurandhar, good money. I got the amount I expected. But I didn’t get that much, and what I did get is over. I live in Mumbai, and there are many expenses here. So all the money from Dhurandhar is over).”

At the end of the video, he made a humble request. He asked fans to pray for him so that he can earn more in the future and help others.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 have become one of the biggest hits in recent times. While the first film did very well, Dhurandhar 2 has taken things to another level.

Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) from Meerut to Rishikesh and Haridwar.

Dhami also requested for faster inauguration of the Rishikesh–Vyasi section under the Rishikesh–Karnaprayag rail project. The CM also requested speedy work on a series of infrastructure proposals that have been aimed to boost connectivity in the Dev Bhoomi.

Uttarakhand News Update

The Rishikesh-Karnaprayag railway line project that would be a 125-kilometer broad-gauge line with 12 stations. It is likely to be completed by 2028 and would reduce travel time to approximately 2-3 hours from 7-8 hours between Rishikesh and Karnaprayag, significantly improving access to the Char Dham pilgrimage sites.

How Would Uttarakhand Benefit?

Uttarakhand CM recently met Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to push for an accelerated RRTS corridor extension from Modipuram to Haridwar and Rishikesh. This would help in improving tourism opportunities and regional connectivity. It would also help in creating thousands of direct as well as indirect jobs in different segments such as hospitality, catering, real estate and small business.

Moreover, the developments would help in simplifying weekend travel from Delhi NCR and more and more homebuyers may choose a property in Haridwar as a second home.

In another development, Dhami also pushed for overall development in the cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh. The Uttarakhand CM has demanded that steps should be taken to beautify Ganga ghats, improve better housing and stay facilities and push for urban infrastructure upgrades.

Also, the Union Government has approved an amount of Rs. 461 crore to fix dangerous road stretches in the state of Uttarakhand. This includes three vulnerable locations on NH-9 (Pithoragarh) and 17 landslide spots on NH-134 (Uttarkashi). It would help to improve these roads that connect Char Dham routes as landslides often block travel and border area connectivity needs massive improvements.

The scheme has so far benefited over 26.81 lakh girls across the state, providing structured financial assistance from birth to higher education. The government offers a total support of ₹25,000 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring transparency and timely aid.

CM Yogi Adityanath: Step-wise Financial Assistance

Under the scheme, financial support is provided in phases:

  • ₹5,000 at the time of birth
  • ₹2,000 after completion of one year vaccination
  • ₹3,000 on admission to Class 1
  • ₹3,000 on admission to Class 6
  • ₹5,000 on admission to Class 9
  • ₹7,000 on admission to graduation or diploma courses

Budget Allocation for 2026-27

For the financial year 2026-27, the state government has allocated ₹400 crore to further expand the scheme and ensure wider coverage.

The initiative reflects the government’s focus on improving education, health, and empowerment of girls, aiming to build a secure, self-reliant future for them. Officials stated that such schemes are playing a key role in changing societal attitudes and promoting gender equality across Uttar Pradesh.

Officials further stated that the scheme has significantly contributed to improving girl child enrollment in schools and reducing dropout rates, especially in rural and economically weaker sections. By linking financial aid with key educational milestones, the government aims to ensure continuity in education and better health outcomes.

Authorities also emphasized that the use of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) has minimized leakages and ensured that the benefits directly reach the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. The scheme is also being promoted actively at the grassroots level through awareness drives so that more eligible families can enroll and avail its benefits.

Talking about that time, Aamir said he was never someone who drank alcohol. However, things took a turn after the separation. He said, “I was a teetotaller until I went through my first divorce with Reena. And then, on the first day when she left with the kids and I was alone at home, I couldn’t handle my emotions at that time. I had never, I used to never drink alcohol. I had drunk once or twice for a couple of scenes, but that was only because I had to drink for the scene. I mean, I was not into alcohol at all.”

He further shared how loneliness hit him hard when he found himself alone at home. That moment became a turning point in his life.

He added, “That night, I had alcohol at home to serve guests and all that, so I started drinking. And for the next one and a half years, I drank almost a bottle a night. Now that’s really extreme, from a person who was a teetotaller to someone who consumes a bottle a night is very extreme.”

Aamir’s Life After Divorce

Over time, Aamir Khan moved forward and rebuilt his life. After his separation from Reena Dutta, he married Kiran Rao in 2005. However, the couple later parted ways in 2021 after 16 years of marriage.

The traffic park in Greater Noida would help children and drivers learn about traffic rules and regulations. Free land for the park has been provided to the Honda Group by the Yamuna Authority after a proposal was approved for the same at the last board meeting.

Work on the detailed project report (DPR) has already been initiated. Once the final approval is received from the board, construction would start immediately and the entire traffic park is likely to be operational within a period of 1 year.

Specialities Of The Park

The traffic park in Greater Noida would feature a real-world and road-like environment with roundabouts, zebra crossings, signboards and traffic lights for students and drivers to practice. Moreover, it would feature the out-of-the-box riding simulator by Honda to help people learn and experience different ways to deal with dangerous traffic situations without any real risk.

Miniature vehicles and bicycles would be used to teach students and others learn about traffic rules in playful and interactive ways. The park would also feature interactive sessions on the significance of road safety. According to police officials, Amritpal Singh Mehron was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport in the early hours of April 10, 2026.

The operation was carried out with the support of central agencies and the Overseas Fugitive Tracking and Extradition Cell (OFTEC) under the Counter Intelligence Wing. Authorities confirmed that he was brought back to India following coordinated efforts.

Crime dates back to June 2025

The case relates to an incident on June 11, 2025, when the accused, along with three associates, allegedly abducted and murdered the victim in Bathinda.

Police said the victim’s body was later abandoned in a car parked near Adesh Hospital. The case had triggered widespread attention due to its nature and the victim’s social media presence.

Co-accused already in custody

Officials confirmed that the other accused involved in the case had already been arrested earlier. Investigations had been ongoing to trace the main accused who had fled the country. Law enforcement agencies continued to pursue leads, eventually locating him in the Middle East. Extradition proceedings were initiated soon after.

Punjab Police worked closely with central agencies to track and detain the fugitive abroad. After being located, he was detained and deported back to India. Authorities highlighted that such coordination is crucial in tackling cross-border crime. The operation reflects increasing use of global tracking mechanisms.
