Eco Friendly Fridge: As the summer months of May to July arrive, surviving the scorching heat could become one of the biggest challenges for millions of Indian households. From rising electricity bills to frequent power outages, the intense climate is not only impacting comfort but also straining finances and the environment. Thankfully, you can count on an eco-friendly fridge to reduce carbon footprint and cut down dramatically on electricity bills.

Benefits Of Eco Friendly Fridge

At a time when the world is searching for greener technologies and energy-efficient lifestyles, the clay refrigerator designed by Mansukhbhai Prajapati stands out as a powerful reminder that sometimes the most effective solutions are rooted in tradition.

Designed to naturally cool food and water, the earthen fridge not only helps households reduce their carbon footprint but also cuts down electricity expenses significantly. Beyond being an eco-conscious product, it represents resilience, indigenous innovation and the revival of India’s forgotten relationship with clay and soil.

The modern refrigerator has become an essential household appliance, but it comes with hidden environmental costs. Conventional refrigerators consume substantial electricity and use refrigerants that can contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. In rural areas and smaller towns, frequent power cuts often leave food spoiled and families frustrated.

Key Benefits of Clay-Made Refrigerators

  • No electricity consumption
  • Zero carbon emissions during operation
  • Keeps vegetables naturally fresh for longer
  • Maintains cool drinking water
  • Affordable and cost-effective
  • Environmentally sustainable
  • Works during power outages
  • Made using natural and biodegradable materials

Eco-friendly refrigerators made from natural clay operate on the principle of evaporation cooling. Without requiring electricity, compressors or harmful gases, these fridges provide an affordable and environmentally responsible alternative.

How Clay Refrigerators Are Transforming Sustainable Living?

In a country where rising power tariffs are becoming a concern for middle-class and rural families alike, a refrigerator that operates without power can significantly reduce monthly expenses. For households dealing with frequent outages, this innovation also removes dependence on generators and inverters, making it both economical and reliable.

Unlike conventional refrigerators that rely on refrigerants and compressors, clay fridges function naturally through evaporation. Moreover, earthenware naturally maintains moisture balance, helping vegetables remain fresh for extended periods without becoming excessively dry.

US Iran Tension: Donald Trump Rejects Peace Bid, Ship Bloodbath Shocks Seoul! Crude Climbs, Global Markets In Meltdown Mode

Iran USA War

US Iran Tension: United States President Donald Trump has outrightly rejected the peace plan submitted by the Islamic Republic of Iran, terming it completely unacceptable.

The plan’s rejection along with the already destabilized global trade routes, shaken oil markets and triggered panic across international financial systems are likely to send global markets in a meltdown mode. In another development, South Korea has reacted sharply to attack on its cargo ship.

US Iran Tension-Impact Of Donald Trump’s Statement

While Donald Trump supporters continue backing his strongman posture against Iran, pressure is mounting inside the United States over the economic cost of prolonged military engagement.

Rising fuel prices, shipping disruptions and growing fears of another endless Middle Eastern conflict are beginning to weigh heavily on American voters and global markets.

Fresh Drone Attacks Across The Gulf

Iran launched fresh drone attacks across the region after the collapse of negotiations, targeting cargo vessels and intensifying fears of a broader disruption to global shipping lanes. The attacks came shortly after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that enemy ships and American-linked assets would face retaliation if Iranian tankers continued to come under fire.

According to Seoul’s foreign ministry, the cargo ship HMM Namu was struck by two unidentified aircrafts while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel later arrived in Dubai heavily damaged by fire

Oil Explodes, Energy Markets In Panic

Global oil markets reacted instantly and violently to the collapse of peace negotiations and the renewed attacks in the Gulf. Brent crude surged by more than 3 percent to cross $104 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude jumped over 4 percent to nearly $100 per barrel.

Economists warn that if crude remains above $100 for an extended period, central banks across the world may once again face pressure to maintain high interest rates, slowing economic growth and increasing recession risks. For developing economies like India, the danger is especially severe. Higher crude prices directly impact fuel costs, transportation expenses, food inflation and fiscal deficits.

Indian equities witnessed one of their sharpest intraday declines in recent weeks. The BSE Sensex crashed nearly 1,200 points to touch an intraday low of 76,166, while the NSE Nifty 50 plunged below 23,850. Midcap and small-cap stocks also came under heavy selling pressure as investors rushed toward safer assets amid fears of prolonged geopolitical instability.

Mamata Banerjee: Existential Crisis Ahead For TMC Supremo! Senior Party Leaders And Coalition Partners Dump Didi, Who Is Next To Jump Ship?

Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee: For nearly two decades, Mamata Banerjee has dominated the political landscape of West Bengal with a mix of street-fighter aggression, populist welfare politics and a carefully cultivated image of a lone warrior taking on powerful adversaries. However, Mamata is now fighting a lone battle and possible existential crisis after Trinamool Congress (TMC) lost the recently concluded West Bengal state assembly elections to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The Fall Of Mamata Banerjee

Electoral setbacks, internal rebellion, accusations of corruption, public criticism of the party’s second-rung leadership and a widening trust deficit among opposition parties have combined to create what may be the gravest political crisis of Mamata Banerjee’s career.

The warning signs are no longer subtle as senior leaders are speaking out, party spokespersons are being suspended, former loyalists are turning critics and even opposition allies that Banerjee hoped to rally against the BJP have publicly rejected her overtures.

Opposition Shuts The Door On Mamata

The first major blow came when the Congress, the Left Front, and the CPI-ML (Liberation) flatly rejected Mamata Banerjee’s proposal for a united anti-BJP platform. Banerjee had attempted to revive her long-standing pitch of opposition unity, positioning herself once again as a central pillar in the national anti-BJP discourse.

CPI(M) state secretary Md Salim dismissed the idea outright, saying the Left would not align with anyone identified as criminal, extortionist, corrupt and communal. The Congress’s State Congress spokesperson Soumya Aich Roy mocked Banerjee’s appeal and questioned her remarks regarding ultra-Left forces. The response referenced the killing of Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh in 2013, accusing Banerjee of irresponsibility and political opportunism.

CPI State secretary Swapan Banerjee declared that democracy was in peril during Mamata Banerjee’s regime, shutting down any possibility of future cooperation.

The TMC today is witnessing something unusual for a party long controlled with iron discipline. The suspension of three party spokespersons in Riju Dutta, Kohinoor Majumdar and Kartik Ghosh reflects the growing nervousness within the leadership.

Critics within the party increasingly believe that the TMC’s grassroots culture has been replaced by excessive centralisation and a shrinking decision-making structure because of Abhishek Banerjee.

UP Video

UP Video: In a new viral video from Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, cops could be seen hitting the gate of a home. The video has once again ignited a nationwide debate over police conduct, use of force and the difficult realities officers face during emergency interventions. The footage, widely circulated on social media, shows police personnel forcefully breaking a gate, entering a house and allegedly slapping individuals during a tense confrontation.

While critics online quickly labelled the incident as police brutality and state overreach, the official police statement paints a very different picture as one centred on emergency suicide prevention and rapid crisis response.

Social Media Reactions

On social media, the internet was split into two camps with one side arguing that the police used excessive force and mishandled the situation. The other believes the officers acted decisively to save a life under extreme pressure.

UP Video-Turn Of Events & Police Reaction

According to the official police reaction, the incident began on May 9, 2026, after a complaint was received through Dial 112. A police team arrived at the scene to investigate allegations reportedly made by a woman at the residence.

During the inquiry, officers reviewed CCTV footage installed at the house. The police claim the footage did not show any incident of molestation and instead indicated that the caller’s side had assaulted a young man.

The situation escalated while officers were reviewing the footage. As per the police statement, the woman allegedly attempted to hang herself in an effort to avoid legal action and create pressure on the police team. Officers immediately intervened by breaking down the door and rescuing her safely. The police further stated that, at first glance, the allegations appeared to have been made to evade police proceedings, and that legal action is now underway.

Patna Viral Video:A bizarre incident from Patna has gone viral on social media after a video allegedly showing a State Bank of India ABM being used as a makeshift barber shop. The bizarre scene left local residents and internet users stunned, many wondering how a bank space could end up running as a salon.

Reports online said customers had gone to the ABM kiosk to withdraw cash but instead found chairs, grooming equipment, and a barber reportedly cutting hair inside the premises. The video quickly went viral on various social media platforms, provoking both humorous and critical reactions.

Viral Video Causes Huge Online Reactions

The clip reportedly partially shows the ABM area converted into a small salon set-up. Some social media users joked that the “cash withdrawal machine had become a hair styling centre,” while others raised concerns about security and misuse of public banking property.

Many viewers also asked whether the ABM was actually working at the time or whether the premises had been abandoned for some time prior to being used for other activities.

Viral Video: Lizard Pops Out of Cold Drink Bottle, Netizens Debate Right Vs Wrong, Check Why?

Viral- Video
Google

A shocking viral video has taken over social media after a man allegedly found a dead lizard inside a sealed cold drink bottle. The clip quickly sparked outrage online, with many users raising health concerns while others questioned whether the incident was real or staged for attention.

What Happened?

According to the viral video, a man bought a small cold drink bottle from a local shop. Before opening it, he noticed something unusual floating inside the bottle. Suspicious about the contents, the people present started recording the incident on camera. When the drink was poured into a vessel, they were shocked to discover what appeared to be a dead lizard inside the bottle. The disturbing clip soon went viral across social media platforms, triggering massive reactions from netizens. While many users expressed concern over consumer safety and hygiene standards, others argued that the bottle might have been tampered with and demanded a proper investigation before blaming anyone.

Netizens Divided Over Viral Video

As the clip gained traction online, social media users started debating whether the incident was genuine or intentionally created for views and attention. Some users expressed outrage and demanded strict action from food safety authorities. They argued that companies dealing with packaged food and beverages must ensure proper hygiene and quality control before products reach consumers. Others questioned how such an object could remain inside a sealed bottle unnoticed during manufacturing. Some even claimed the bottle may have been tampered with after purchase and called for a proper investigation before jumping to conclusions.

Public Reaction Raises Bigger Questions

The incident has once again highlighted concerns surrounding food safety and consumer trust. Whether the viral clip is authentic or manipulated, many people believe it underlines the importance of checking packaged products carefully before consumption. Experts often advise consumers to avoid drinking or consuming any packaged item if it appears damaged, improperly sealed, or contains suspicious particles. At the same time, companies are expected to maintain strict hygiene standards and transparent quality control systems.

Amit Malviya: “Kya Nehruji Bhi Compromised PM Thein?” BJP Leader Castigates Rahul Gandhi On Mocking PM Modi’s Honest Appeal

Amit Malviya

Amit Malviya: The national convener of the IT cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party has questioned if India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru was also a “compromised Prime Minister.” Malviya blasted the Congress party’s selective memory and political hypocrisy and asked if appealing to the public to fulfill their responsibilities is a ‘failure,’ is Nehru also a “compromised Prime Minister.”

Statement By Rahul Gandhi

In a post on X, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sharply criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal urging citizens to reduce fuel consumption, work from home when possible, avoid unnecessary foreign travel and postpone gold purchases in light of mounting global economic pressures.

Calling PM Modi a “compromised PM,” the Congress leader argued that the appeal reflected the Narendra Modi government’s inability to manage the Indian economy effectively.

Gandhi insisted that the Prime Minister should not lecture citizens on what to buy, where to go, where not to go and what not to buy,” asserting that accountability for economic distress lies squarely with the government.

Global Public Restraint Appeals

Appeals for public restraint during economic turbulence are not uncommon in democracies. Governments across the world routinely ask citizens to moderate consumption during wars, inflationary shocks, supply disruptions or financial crises.

Rahul Gandhi’s criticism was carefully calibrated to portray PM Modi’s message as disconnected from the everyday struggles of ordinary Indians. The Congress sought to reinforce a long-standing opposition narrative that the Modi government often relies on symbolism and public mobilisation instead of structural economic solutions.

Rebuttal By Amit Malviya

Amit Malviya’s rebuttal was not merely defensive but also strategic. Rather than only justifying Modi’s appeal, Malviya attempted to turn the argument back on Congress by invoking India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, a figure central to the Congress party’s ideological identity.

He reminded the public that Nehru himself had acknowledged the impact of global conflicts on India’s domestic economy, including inflationary pressures. According to Malviya, if Modi’s references to global crises are considered “excuses” today, then by the same logic, Nehru’s observations during his tenure would also have to be dismissed as failures or compromises.

Thalapathy Vijay: TVK’s Cheeky Vande Mataram Dig At BJP Sparks Left, DMK Outrage! CPI Fury Exposes Coalition Cracks On The First Day?

Thalapathy Vijay

Thalapathy Vijay: C Joseph Vijay became the 23rd Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday. However, his swearing-in ceremony was not without drama. The Communist Party of India alleged that step-motherly treatment was given to Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu, which is the invocation song in praise of Mother Tamil. Similar views were expressed by DMK.

Interestingly, the West Bengal CM swearing-in ceremony had no mention of Vande Mataram despite the NDA itself putting a new Union government circular that all six stanzas of the National Song’s official version must be rendered first whenever the National Song and the National Anthem are performed together.

Swearing-In Ceremony Of Thalapathy Vijay

During the swearing-in ceremony of Vijay, Vande Mataram and the national anthem Jana Gana Mana were played before Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu in a departure from long-followed state protocol. This triggered widespread criticism and sharp reactions from the Communist Party of India and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK).

What Caused CPI And DMK Outrage?

Traditionally, the Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu was played before the national anthem. But Vande Mataram was played first ahead of the national anthem and Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu at Sunday’s ceremony at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.

Interestingly, the same sequence was followed in the swearing-in ceremony of TVK MLA M V Karuppaiah as pro-tem Speaker.

M Veerapandian, the CPI state secretary, objected strongly to the order of songs and said the Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu should be given the foremost position in state functions.

The sequence of songs was also condemned by VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan while PMK founder S Ramadoss urged the recently appointed government to make sure that due importance is accorded at all official events to Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu. It was alleged by DMK spokesperson TKS Elangovan that the state governor insisted on insisted on Vande Mataram being sung first Elangovan claimed the song sequences showed Vijay was “going towards the BJP”.

Another Master Class Period Film On Cards? Ashutosh Gowarikar to Team Up With Amir Khan After 25 Years, Check What Inspired the Director?

Ashutosh- Gowarikar
Google

Ashutosh Gowarikar: After almost 25 years, one of Bollywood’s most iconic actor-director duos might finally be joining forces. There are reports doing the rounds that Ashutosh Gowariker and Aamir Khan are coming together for a big budget period sports drama based on real life cricket history.

The partnership is already creating a lot of excitement among movie buffs, especially since the duo had earlier given the critically acclaimed Lagaan, a film still remembered as one of the greatest sports dramas of Indian cinema.

What the New Film Is Said to Be About

This upcoming project is said to be heavy on the history and emotion, unlike the sports biopics of today. The film is said to be about the life and legacy of Lala Amarnath, one of the earliest icons of Indian cricket and a big player in the turbulent years surrounding the 1947 Partition.

The story is expected to look at how cricket became emotionally linked to identity, nationalism and healing in the fraught India-Pakistan post-Partition years.

There are also reports that the narrative could be based on the historic 1952 India-Pakistan Test series, with cricket serving as a backdrop to depict the emotional scars of Partition.

Why This Subject Suits Gowariker’s Style

Ashutosh Gowariker has been known for long for his visually grand narratives that blend history, emotion, patriotism and sports. He had a penchant for stories that relate individual experiences to larger national issues like his films Lagaan and Swades.

This new project seems to be on a similar trajectory, using cricket not only as a sport but as a metaphor of resilience, identity and unity during one of the most emotionally tumultuous times in South Asian history.

Fans are pumped for yet another epic collab

Naturally, the news of Aamir Khan doing another historical sports drama under Gowariker’s direction has generated many reactions from fans on social media. Many social media users are already calling it a potential “masterclass period film,” especially since both artists are known for their attention to detail and emotionally layered storytelling.

More than a cricket film

Ashutosh Gowarikar: Industry watchers feel the film could transcend sports and be a bigger human story about Partition, migration, emotional division and rebuilding identity through cricket. If officially confirmed, this project could be one of the most-awaited Hindi films in the works.
