Happy Patel Review: ‘My Jaw Hurts…’ Is Vir Das Starrer Wildest Spy Comedy? Check What Viewers Are Saying About Aamir Khan And Imran Khan’s Cameo

Happy Patel Review - Vir Das, Aamir Khan

Happy Patel Review: Vir Das has taken a bold step with Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, a spy comedy he both directs and stars in. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the film released on January 16, 2026, after quirky promotional videos, including one with Sunil Grover parodying Aamir Khan, went viral. While the promos created curiosity, early audience reactions show that viewers are divided over the film.

Happy Patel Review: Here’s What Early Viewers Said About Vir Das Starrer

Designed as an absurd, over-the-top spy spoof, Happy Patel tries to deliver madcap comedy in the vein of cult classics. However, many viewers feel the execution falls short. Some called the film uneven and tiring, saying that while the idea sounded fun on paper, it became exhausting to watch. Critics online said the jokes often did not land and the absurdity failed to translate into real comedy. Despite Vir Das’ energetic performance, the script limits his impact.

While the premise promised dark comedy and thrills, some viewers said most of the film falls apart after a point. Scenes drag on, and the love track with Mithila Palkar tests patience, though her presence is appreciated.

In their Happy Patel review post, some viewers said the comedy is risky but works for those who enjoy absurd humour. Vir Das’ understanding of the chaotic style keeps parts of the film entertaining. The cameos of Imran Khan and Aamir Khan also grabbed attention. Imran’s return as a supermodel works in parts, while Aamir’s brief cameo adds a fun moment, even if it feels functional.

Check out the reactions below!

About The Film

The story follows Happy Patel, a clumsy British spy of Indian origin who has failed to join MI7 multiple times. He is sent on a mission to Goa to rescue a scientist from a crime lord known as Mama, getting entangled in a chaotic criminal network.

Running just under two hours and rated A for adult content, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos features a strong ensemble cast including Mithila Palkar, Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi, and Srushti Tawade. Vir Das shines as the actor, but many feel his directorial debut shows room for improvement. Fans of madcap, chaotic comedy may enjoy it, but others may find it uneven and exhausting.

Ghaziabad News: The platform widening work at Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad railway station has been completed by the Indian Railways

The move would improve overall safety and smoother movement of passengers during peak hours. It would also enhance operational efficiency and comfort at the Ghaziabad station, which is one of the busiest junctions in India.

In a statement, Indian Railways remarked that the platform widening work at the Ghaziabad railway station has been completed.

Ghaziabad News-More Details

The width of platforms no. 5 and 6 have been increased by about 4 meters in the platform’s middle portion. The width has been increased by approximately 1.5 meters at the end portion while the widening covers over a length of 300 meters now.

On platform numbers 3 and 4, the width has been increased by approximately 4 meters in the platform’s middle portion. The width has been increased by about 2 meters at the platform’s end portion while the platforms’ widening has been performed for a length of approximately 200 meters.

The widening of platforms would allow more passengers to board and alight simultaneously without crowding narrow edges. This would help in preventing bottlenecks near entrances and tracks, easing high footfall movement. Moreover, expanded platforms would help in enhancing train turnaround times by enabling faster flow of passengers and reducing congestion delays. It would also be beneficial to manage crowds more effectively while improving maintenance access and safety protocols.

About Ghaziabad Railway Station

Ghaziabad Junction railway station houses one of the country’s most powerful electric locomotive sheds. It maintains more than 250 high-speed WAP-5 and WAP-7 engines that are the workhorses behind premium trains such as Rajdhanis and Shatabdis that clock speeds up to 160 km/h.

Ghaziabad Railway Station is the first major junction in the country with ₹364 crore “airport-style” multi-modal hub featuring the widest air concourse (72m, 8,571 sq m) and roof plaza for seamless city-platform transfers.

Rahu Ketu Review: ‘Bahut Bada Sir Dard Hai…’ Hindi Journalist Shows No Mercy While Criticising Pulkit Samrat Starrer, Mocks THESE Veteran Actors

Rahu Ketu Review Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma

Rahu Ketu Review: Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma are a well-known on-screen duo for Hindi film audiences, mainly because of their success in the Fukrey franchise. Their chemistry has delivered laughs in the past. However, their latest fantasy comedy, Rahu Ketu, has failed to impress at least one outspoken critic. Hindi journalist and news anchor Ujjawal Trivedi has slammed the film, calling it a “big headache” and criticising it without holding back.

Trivedi’s reaction to the film seems filled with anger and frustration. His review video is now viral on social media.

Rahu Ketu Review: What The Journalist Said About Film

According to the journalist, he went to the theatre expecting light entertainment but left feeling tired and frustrated. Instead of laughing at the film, he laughed at his own decision to spend Rs 225 and give up his morning sleep. He also questioned how such a weak script was approved by a major production house, despite what he called highly paid “creative” teams.

In his Rahu Ketu review video, he says, “Rahu Ketu dekhne gaya tha aur hanste-hanste mera bura haal ho gaya. Main film ki kahani par nahi, balki apne haal par hans raha tha ki maine kaise apni do sau pachees rupaye ki subah ki neend isme jhonk di. Mujhe un AC par baithkar creative banne wale logon ki buddhi par taras aata raha, jo Zee Studio mein moti-moti salary uthate hain aur aisi tuchi kahaniyon par logon ka waqt aur paisa barbaad karwate hain.”

The journalist strongly criticised the film’s storytelling, saying it has no focus or clear direction. According to him, Rahu Ketu keeps changing genres without any reason. At times it feels like a thriller, then suddenly turns spiritual, and later tries to become a comedy, without any real jokes.

He also mocked veteran actors Chunky Panday and Piyush Mishra. He added, “Retirement ke baad bhi kaam dhoondh rahe Chunky Pandey aur Piyush Mishra par bhi taras aaya ki bechaaron ko in filmon mein kya-kya karke guzara karna pad raha hai. Film ki baat karein to usmein kahani batane layak kuch bhi nahi hai.”

The journalist admitted that he could not finish the full 11 am show. He said the film became more exhausting as it went on. He also criticised the editing, claiming scenes appear and disappear without explanation.

Summing up his experience, Trivedi compared Rahu Ketu to a messy experiment rather than a proper film. He concluded his Rahu Ketu review by saying, “Doston, yeh film nahi hai. Yeh ek bahut bada sir dard hai… Itni der agar aap cinema hall mein baith jaayein, to apni sahanshakti ko aap khud hi award de sakte hain.”

About This Pulkit Samrat Starrer

Released on January 16, Rahu Ketu is a Hindi-language fantasy comedy directed by Vipul Vig. The film follows two unlucky characters, Rahu and Ketu, whose lives turn chaotic after fictional characters from a magical notebook come alive. Along with Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, the film stars Shalini Pandey, Chunky Pandey, and Piyush Mishra. Produced by Zee Studios and BLive Productions, the film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 20–25 crore.

Jhansi Viral Video: ‘2 Saal Se Saath Nahi….’ Husband Catches Wife Red-Handed With Boyfriend in Hotel, Drama Goes Viral

Jhansi- Viral- Video

Jhansi Viral Video: A terribly shocking episode from Jhansi has been the talk of the town on social media, where a husband caught his wife with her lover in a hotel room. The police’s arrival made the situation more dramatic, and the whole confrontation was filmed and widely shared online.

What happened?

Reports indicate that the husband got a tip-off that his wife was out on a date with a man. He was doubting her fidelity, so he decided to follow her. The wife and her lover checked into a guest house close to the bus stand in Jhansi and took Room No. 103. After verifying their whereabouts, the husband dialed 112 and arrived at the hotel with the police. Even before the police officers entered the room, a furious argument had started. The wife was playing a very strong drama and making her point very discreetly; she said her husband had been staying apart from her for two years, so she chose to go to the inn. The moment the police walked into the room, the boyfriend was overtaken by his fright, and so he went under the bed. While looking for him, the police came across him and escorted him out. The whole incident was caught on camera and became viral on social media in no time.

Hotel Room Confrontation Turns Viral

The dramatic confrontation inside the hotel room, involving the husband, wife, boyfriend, and police, has sparked strong online debates. While some are questioning relationships and personal choices, others are discussing legal and moral boundaries. The Jhansi viral video still ranks among the most-viewed, thus sparking public interest.

People’s Reactions

Jhansi Viral Video: These are the comments to the viral video where people say that in today’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat, such incidents no longer come as a surprise. Jo pakda gaya woh expose ho gaya, aur jo nahi pakda gaya woh bach gaya. Lekin proof ke naam par personal videos ya moments ko directly social media par viral karna sahi nahi hai. Aaj ki generation apne behaviour se next generation ke liye values set kar rahi hai, aur sadly privacy ka respect dheere-dheere khatam hota ja raha hai. Khabar toh banegi hi, par kisi ki personal life ko public banana galat hai.

Bhagwant Mann Government Brings Daytime Power Supply for Farmers, Transforms Agricultural Practices in Punjab

Bhagwant- Mann

The Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government has highlighted a major shift in the state’s agricultural system by ensuring convenient daytime electricity supply for farmers, a move aimed at improving safety, productivity, and quality of life in rural areas.

Bhagwant Mann Government Brings Daytime Power Supply for Farmers

According to AAP Punjab, the initiative has eliminated the long-standing practice of farmers having to stay awake at night to irrigate their fields. With power now available during the day, farmers no longer face the risk to life and health associated with nighttime fieldwork.

Improved Safety and Work-Life Balance for Farmers

The state government said the new power supply schedule allows farmers to complete agricultural work during daylight hours and return home on time in the evening, similar to fixed working hours in government jobs. This change has enabled farmers to spend more time with their families, significantly improving their work-life balance.

Officials said the move has reduced accidents, fatigue, and stress among farmers, particularly during peak agricultural seasons.

Boost to Agricultural Efficiency

By providing reliable daytime electricity, the Mann government aims to enhance irrigation efficiency and farm productivity. Daytime power supply also helps farmers better monitor irrigation, manage equipment, and reduce operational challenges caused by erratic or late-night power availability.

Part of Broader Agricultural Reforms

The AAP government said the initiative is part of a broader effort to modernise agriculture in Punjab, focusing on farmer welfare, sustainability, and safety. The policy reflects the government’s commitment to addressing long-standing issues faced by the farming community through practical reforms.

Positive Response From Rural Areas

Farmers across several districts have welcomed the decision, stating that daytime electricity supply has brought a noticeable change in their daily routines and overall well-being. Many have termed it a long-overdue reform in Punjab’s power and agriculture sectors.

The Mann government reiterated that strengthening agriculture remains a top priority, with farmer-centric policies aimed at securing livelihoods and ensuring a safer, more sustainable farming ecosystem in Punjab.

Should You Cook Dal in Pressure Cooker, Consuming Pulse Starch Right or Wrong? Doctor Weighs In

Pulse Starch Pressure Cooker

Pulse Starch Pressure Cooker: Pulses, which are a dietary staple in Indian cuisine, are classified as nutrient-dense legumes that are rich in fibre, protein and essential minerals. In the recent past, many so-called influencers have suggested that cooking pulses in pressure cookers can be extremely harmful. These misconceptions often stem from partial or half-told truths about starch digestion and pulse cooking methods.

Debunking Starch Harm Myths

Starch in pulses is primarily complex carbohydrates that tend to break down slowly, unlike refined starches. One of the most common myths that people believe in is related to the assumption that pulse starch can spike blood sugar levels dangerously or may cause bloating akin to “industrial starch.” However, natural starch in pulses pairs with protein and fibre, reducing glycaemic impact.

Antinutrients such as lectins or phytates exist but soaking and cooking pulses neutralize them effectively that helps preserve benefits without causing gut damage. In fact, several studies have demonstrated that low-GI legumes can aid metabolic health.

Pulse Starch Pressure Cooker Safety Facts

Pressure cookers tend to speed up the process of pulse cooking by raising boiling points, which helps in retaining up to 90 percent more nutrients than open-pot boiling because of sealed steam and shorter times.

Far from harmful, pressure cooking helps in minimizing antinutrients better, prevent nutrient leaching and enhance digestibility.

Health Benefits of Pulse Starch

The resistant starch in cooked-and-cooled pulses acts like fibre to feed gut bacteria and stabilize blood sugar. Rich in potassium, iron and folate, they help combat anaemia and heart disease. Unlike processed carbohydrates, pulse starch supports satiety, aiding weight management without “belly fat” myths.

Best Cooking Practices

Ideally, pulses should be soaked for 4-8 hours. Thereafter, they can be cooked in a pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles (approximately 10-20 minutes). Cumin seeds or turmeric can be added to aid digestion and boost flavour.

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 7: Prabhas’ Big-Budget Film Continues Its Poor Run, Misses Rs 150 Cr Mark – Will Maruthi Still Make A Sequel?

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 7: Prabhas’ big-budget film The Raja Saab is finding it difficult to stay strong at the box office. After a solid opening, the horror-comedy has seen a steady fall in collections through its first week. On Day 7, the film has missed an important milestone, raising doubts about its long-term run and the future of its hinted sequel.

Maruthi directorial missed the Rs 150 cr mark by a huge margin as it wrapped up its first week. It hasn’t shown any major growth till now, which confirms the disastrous run.

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 7

As per trade tracker Sacnilk, The Raja Saab earned around Rs 5.65 crore India net on Day 7, taking its total domestic collection to nearly Rs 130.40 crore in its first week. While the numbers may look decent at first glance, they are well below what is expected from a Prabhas-starrer made on a reported Rs 350 crore budget. It is struggling to reach even Rs 150 cr mark. The film’s opening day collection of about Rs 53.75 crore remains its best single-day performance so far.

The film’s run during the festive Sankranti period has also disappointed trade experts. Usually, festival holidays push footfalls higher. However, The Raja Saab failed to gain much from the festive window. After a brief hold, collections dropped into single digits on weekdays. Poor word of mouth and negative audience response have largely driven this decline.

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 7

How The Raja Saab Compares To Prabhas’ Recent Films

Compared to Prabhas’ earlier releases, The Raja Saab looks weaker at the box office. Other flop films like Adipurush and Saaho recorded stronger first-week collections and crossed the Rs 300 crore worldwide mark quickly. Even Radhe Shyam showed better early traction in some markets.

On the other hand, Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire proved to be a big success in 2023. The action film collected an estimated Rs 600–700 crore worldwide, showing Prabhas’ box office strength when backed by solid content. Unfortunately, that momentum has not carried forward to The Raja Saab.

While The Raja Saab struggles, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues to perform well. Even after six weeks in theatres, the spy thriller is earning steadily and has crossed Rs 1,000 crore globally. Its strong hold shows the impact of engaging storytelling and positive word of mouth.

Is A Sequel Still Likely?

The Raja Saab ends by setting up a sequel titled The Raja Saab Circus 1935, and the makers have confirmed Prabhas’ return. However, the current box office trend may force a rethink. Usually, sequels move ahead only if the original film makes profits or builds strong audience demand.

Trade analysts say any recovery for The Raja Saab will depend largely on OTT and satellite deals. Without a major turnaround, the sequel could be delayed, reworked, or scaled down.

About The Raja Saab

Released on January 9, 2026, it features Prabhas as Raju, a cheerful man living with his grandmother Gangamma (Zarina Wahab), who suffers from Alzheimer’s. His search for his missing grandfather Kanakaraju (Sanjay Dutt) leads him to a haunted mansion in the Narasapur forest. The cast also includes Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Boman Irani.

Despite its scale, the film received criticism for weak writing, uneven pacing, and technical issues. The long runtime was called an endurance test, while the female leads were labelled “decorative elements”. Viewers also pointed out poor VFX and the noticeable use of body doubles for Prabhas.

Amroha News: Excessive Consumption Of Fast Foods Takes Third Death, Bijnor In Shock!

Amroha News

Amroha News: A 20-year-old newly married woman from Amroha in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh has died of a severe pancreatic infection while undergoing medical treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Amroha News-Possible Cause Of Death

Shifa, the woman, used to frequently consume fast food. She was married for eight months and her husband works as a tailor in Delhi.

On January 7, Shifa complained to her family of severe abdominal pain. She was immediately rushed and admittyed to a private hospital in Joya. Shifa was referred to Moradabad after her condition worsened and later shifted to AIIMS where she died.

The death of Shifa was confirmed by Amroha CMO Dr. Yogendra Singh but the exact cause of her death is yet to be determined. The CMO remarked that a team would be sent to AIIMS for the collection of medical details and identify the exact cause of Shifa’s death.

Assistant commissioner Vinay Kumar Agarwal from the District Food Safety Department remarked that several teams have been formed for collecting junk food samples that are being sold locally.

Past Amroha Fast Food Deaths

Previously, a 16-year-old girl Ahana died at AIIMS after complaining of severe intestinal damage. Ahana was a regular consumer of fast food items such as Maggi, pizzas, burgers and chowmien. In the second incident, a NEET aspirant Ilma from Chuchaila Kalaan village in Amroha died on December 29 last year at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi after a brain surgery. Her death was attributed to typhoid and a parasitic infection from contaminated cabbage in fast food.

Excessive fast food consumption can indirectly contribute to fatal health conditions rather than acute poisoning. High fat, sugar, salt and calorie content in these foods can result in heart disease, obesity, diabetes and related complications over time. It can even cause rapid weight gain that can strain body organs while increasing the risk of type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

Delhi News: Bitter Cold, Hazardous Air Define Delhi’s Winter as Weather and Pollution Crisis Deepens, Air, Rail and Vehicular Traffic Thrown Out of Gear

Delhi- News
Google

Delhi News: Delhi is witnessing one of its harshest winters in recent years as biting cold waves combine with hazardous air pollution, pushing the national capital into a full-blown weather and environmental crisis. Temperatures have dipped sharply, with night readings hovering close to freezing levels, intensifying discomfort for residents already battling toxic air.

Air Quality Plunges to Hazardous Levels

The Air Quality Index (AQI) across most parts of Delhi has remained in the “severe” category for consecutive days. A thick blanket of smog, driven by low wind speeds, temperature inversion, vehicular emissions, construction dust, and stubble burning in neighboring states, has severely reduced visibility. Health experts have warned that prolonged exposure to such air can cause respiratory distress, eye irritation, and aggravate heart and lung diseases, especially among children and the elderly.

Traffic Disrupted Across Air, Rail, and Roads

The worsening weather and pollution have thrown air, rail, and vehicular traffic out of gear. Several flights at Indira Gandhi International Airport faced delays and diversions due to poor visibility caused by dense fog and smog. Rail services were also affected, with numerous long-distance trains running hours behind schedule. On the roads, commuters experienced traffic congestion as reduced visibility slowed movement and increased the risk of accidents.

Authorities on Alert, Citizens Advised Caution

Authorities have implemented emergency measures under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), including restrictions on construction activities and the operation of polluting vehicles. Schools have shifted to hybrid or online modes in some areas, while residents are being advised to limit outdoor activities, use masks, and follow health advisories.

Delhi News: A Growing Environmental Challenge Delhi’s winter crisis once again highlights the urgent need for long-term solutions—cleaner transport, stricter emission controls, and regional coordination—to prevent the annual recurrence of bitter cold coupled with deadly pollution.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film released on December 5, 2025, and stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal.

At the start of its sixth week, Dhurandhar faced a slight dip on weekdays, earning Rs 2.35 crore on Monday and Rs 2.6 crore on Tuesday. However, the festive midweek revived its momentum. Wednesday recorded an overall occupancy of 16.49% across theatres in India. Morning shows had 7.63% occupancy, afternoon 17.81%, evening 18.45% and night shows peaked at 22.07%.

Region-wise, Delhi NCR hosted 719 shows with 9.50% occupancy, while Mumbai performed stronger with 349 shows and 17.25% occupancy. This strong regional turnout helped Dhurandhar maintain its box office dominance, despite competition from recent releases like Prabhas’ The Raja Saab and Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.

According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar box office collection saw a significant boost on day 41 due to the Makar Sankranti holiday, earning Rs 3.4 crore and pushing its global box office past Rs 1300 crore. On day 42 (Thursday), the film collected Rs 3 crore, taking its domestic total to Rs 816.60 crore.

The film’s performance keeps it ahead of major contemporaries. On day 41, Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rise earned Rs 1.55 crore, while Chhaava made Rs 1.3 crore. In comparison, Dhurandhar’s collections at the same stage are nearly double.

Dhurandhar has already surpassed lifetime collections of blockbuster hits like KGF 2 (Rs 1215 crore) and RRR (Rs 1230 crore), becoming the highest-grossing Indian film in India and the fourth highest worldwide. However, it still trails Pushpa 2 – The Rule (Rs 1,742.10 crore) and Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (Rs 1,788.06 crore) globally.

How Long Will Ranveer Starrer Run In Theatres?

Now, attention turns to whether upcoming releases, including Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan’s Border 2 (releasing on January 23, 2026) can challenge Dhurandhar’s strong run. The film is expected to continue its theatrical run through late January before moving to Netflix on January 30, 2026. The streaming release is timed ahead of the sequel, Dhurandhar 2, slated for March 19, 2026.

The film follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), a death-row inmate recruited by Indian intelligence to infiltrate Pakistan’s criminal underworld under the codename “Hamza.” Inspired by real events like the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the story charts Hamza’s covert mission in Karachi’s Lyari district. He aims to dismantle a terror syndicate, take down key figures like gangster Rehman Dakait, and confront the ultimate mastermind “Bade Sahab.”
