Sonam Raghuvanshi: The primary accused in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi has been granted bail after three previous rejections. Sonam Raghuvanshi received the bail after spending 10 months in jail. The mother of Raja has criticized the bail verdict and casted doubts on how a murder accused and mastermind could be granted bail.

Sonam Raghuvanshi-Turn Of Events

In May 2025, Sonam Raghuvanshi murdered her husband during their honeymoon trip to East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya. The body of Raja was found in a gorge after the couple were reportedly missing from Sohra.

Confession Of Sonam Raghuvanshi

Sonam Raghuvanshi was detained in the state of Uttar Pradesh. She allegedly confessed to conspiring with Raj Kushwaha, her lover, and three accomplices. Sonam’s lover and the other three would stay in custody as the bail petition was only filed by Sonam.

A bail petition was filed by the legal aid cell of East Khasi Hills district and session judge court on grounds that a chargesheet has been filed after the completion of the case’s investigation. It was also argued by Sonam that she had and will continue to cooperate with the murder investigation.

Sonam’s father and cousin arrived in Shillong to provide the release’s surety bond.

Additional DC (Judicial), Shillong, Dashalene R Kharbteng, commented that the Police referred to a wrong penal section of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the “Intimation of Grounds of Arrest” form shown to her had the checkboxes unticked. It was also commented by the court that there was nothing on record to demonstrate that Sonam had legal representation when she was first produced on June 9, 2025, before the Ghazipur Court. Therefore, the plea in the context of non-intimation of arrest grounds could not be raised earlier.

Meanwhile, Sonam’s brother, Govind has commented that Sonam would not be allowed to stay with them at the family home. Govind claimed that he would move out of the home if his parents decided otherwise.

Barabanki Viral Video: Groom Puts Forward Unique Condition Before Marriage to Bride After LPG Shortage, Netizen Calls it ‘Practical and Necessary’

Barabanki Viral Video: A wedding video from Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, has gone viral after a groom introduced a surprisingly practical condition before tying the knot. At a time when LPG shortages are affecting daily life in several regions, the moment struck a chord with thousands online.

What Happened in the Viral Clip?

In the now widely shared video, groom Ashok pauses during the wedding rituals to ask his bride a simple but meaningful question, and that is, “If gas isn’t available, will you be able to cook on the stove?” Without hesitation, the bride responds, “Yes, I’ll manage to cook.” With that reassurance, the ceremony continued smoothly, and the couple completed their wedding rituals, followed by the bride’s farewell.

The Real Reason Behind the Condition

Ashok’s question wasn’t symbolic; it came from a real struggle. Reports suggest he had spent hours standing in long queues trying to get an LPG cylinder in recent days. Across parts of India, supply disruptions have forced people to look for alternatives or wait endlessly for refills. This ground reality made his question less unusual and more relatable for many viewers.

Netizens React: ‘Practical,’ ‘Realistic,’ and ‘Relatable’

Social media users had a lot to say after watching the clip shared on X (Twitter). Reactions ranged from humor to strong support. Many users called the groom’s question “practical and necessary in today’s situation.” Some praised the bride’s confident reply, saying it reflected adaptability and understanding. A few users joked that this is the “new-age compatibility test” in times of inflation and shortages. Others highlighted how basic issues like cooking gas are now influencing even personal decisions like marriage.

King Charles III: In a light-hearted and warm tone, King Charles III commented on the deep historical and cultural ties between the United Kingdom and USA. During his speech at Congress, King Charles remarked that Americans would have been speaking French if Britain had not intervened.

King Charles was referencing to a statement by Trump wherein he remarked that European countries would be speaking German if the United States had not intervened.

King Charles III Mocks US President’s Statement

Reaction Of Donald Trump

United States President Donald Trump congratulated King Charles on his fantastic speech at Congress. Trump hilariously commented that King Charles got the Democrats to stand and he had never been able to do that and that’s just unbelievable.

Trump also said that King Charles agrees with him on Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The US President went on to claim massive military success against the Islamic Republic of Iran and added that the United States of America would never allow opponents to procure nuclear weapons. Interestingly, Charles didn’t speak about Iran or the Iran war.

As a constitutional monarch, King Charles didn’t spoke on behalf of the British government and his comments stayed focused on broader themes rather than geopolitics.

King Charles presented a bell to the US President from the British submarine HMS Trump that was launched in 1944 during World War II.

In another development, King Charles met top US tech leaders and discussed hurdles for early-stage startups while touting UK as the top destination for technology firms. King Charles MET Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Advanced Micro Devices CEO Lisa Su, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and Alphabet President Ruth Porat.

King Charles III and Camilla would travel to New York on Wednesday to visit the 9/11 memorial ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Viral Video: Anything For Reel Making? Puneet Superstar Does The Unthinkable, Takes Dip in Sewer Water, Consumes It, Netizens Weigh In

Viral- Video
Google

Digital viral trends on social media have become dangerously aggressive in some instances due to social media influencers, who will now perform dangerously risky stunts such as drinking from and swimming in sewage in order to attract followers. Recently, the video of one popular influencer, Puneet Superstar, has gone viral with widespread outrage across virtually all digital platforms. In the video, Puneet Superstar dips himself in an open sewer and cleanses himself of germs by eating food that he put down where he himself was sitting before.

Beyond Entertainment: The Health Risks

Modern day creators typically record this type of content for entertainment value. However, the dangers from a public health standpoint concerning these dangerous and disgusting acts are much higher than the short-term views gained by the creators or those that post the videos

There are many germs in sewage, including E. coli and several types of parasites, along with a combination of chemicals that could provoke an individual to develop threatening infection, develop severe gastrointestinal complications and potentially permanent disabilities from the dangerous things in the sewage water. Because many pre-adult audiences are forming a new norm for dangerous actions thinking that it is entertaining. Many impressionable young audiences are likely to copy these types of actions, contributing to their own social media growth through these same acts.

The Ethics of Viral Fame

Puneet Superstar, the former reality TV personality has demonstrated a pattern of unconventional actions throughout his career. Nonetheless, there are those who believe there is a point at which content creation becomes hazardous to the public. As individuals with influence create content to work their way through complex algorithms and stay relevant, they remain under scrutiny regarding the degree of accountability they have to the platform itself and whether or not their actions are morally responsible.

Performing actions that put your safety and the safety of others at risk is reason enough to call for enhanced community guidelines for risky behaviour on the web/in person; this type of “influence,” when done responsibly, will motivate and not put you at risk.

Toxic: ‘Screen Pe Hero, Reality Mein Fattu…’ Yash And Makers Face Brutal Trolling After Film Gets Postponed Again

Yash starrer Toxic postponed again

Yash starrer Toxic has been postponed once again, shocking fans who were waiting for its June 4 release. The actor confirmed the delay through a long Instagram note, but did not announce a fresh release date. Soon after the update, social media was flooded with angry reactions and trolling.

The delay has come as a major setback for one of the most talked-about pan-India films of the year. While Yash said the film is complete, many users questioned the repeated postponements and claimed the makers were struggling with buzz, VFX and release plans.

Yash Announces Toxic Postponement

Sharing a detailed statement, Yash wrote, “There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed-that this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide.”

He further added, “Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release timeline. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date. Toxic will come to theatres across the world soon.”

The actor also said, “At a time when Indian cinema is finding its voice and stepping onto the global stage with such promise, each of us has a responsibility to raise the bar. As an actor – producer, I see this moment as an opportunity to do my part for the Indian film industry and for all of us by taking the time to ensure our film reaches the world with the impact it is meant to have.”

He thanked fans for standing by him and wrote, “Through every step and every change, your support has stayed with me, and I carry it with deep gratitude.”

Yash’s official statement shared by Taran Adarsh

Netizens Troll Yash After Delay

Many users were not impressed by the explanation and brutally trolled Yash and the makers online. Reacting to the delay, one user wrote, “Dhurandhar cooked everyone. Nobody is gonna watch over-the-top flying action scenes anymore.”

Another commented, “Instead, it’s other way round. I am sure they are reworking on VFX and jarring BMG.”

A third user said, “One man’s ego has wrecked this movie #toxic producers life. No buzz, you can’t create artificial hype every time. #yash has always been mediocre and less talented. Not every movie will turn out to be a lottery like KGF..”

One more shared, “Truth is there is no buyer in the English market. And they are still searching. Even good ott deal is not received. That’s why they are pushing the release further.”

A user quipped, “Screen pe hero. Reality me fattu.”

Another netizen wrote, “This is not looking good for Toxic and Yash.”

Second Release Delay For Toxic

This is the second time Toxic has been delayed. The film was first planned for a March 19 release this year. Later, it was shifted to June 4. Now, the makers have postponed it again without revealing a new date.

The repeated delays have increased uncertainty around the project, especially after the film created strong hype with its early promos.

About Yash Starrer Toxic

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic was recently showcased at CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas with a nine-minute preview.

During an interaction with Fandango, Yash said, “Toxic is a very ambitious film. For the first time, we have also shot it in English. At face value, it may seem like a typical gangster drama packed with action, but it’s far more layered. It explores deep psychological themes and aspects of human behaviour that audiences can relate to. It’s a unique way of presenting a dark character.”

The film stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth and Akshay Oberoi.

Earlier this year, the film also landed in controversy after its teaser faced criticism for bold visuals. Complaints were reportedly filed over alleged obscenity and concerns about certain scenes.

Mumbai Watermelon Deaths: How Fruit Turned Family Feast into Funeral? Doctors Sound Alarm

Mumbai Watermelon Deaths

Mumbai Watermelon Deaths: Mumbai, the Financial Capital of India, recently witnessed a deeply unsettling incident wherein four members of a family including 2 young daughters died after consuming a watermelon. The incident serves as a sobering reminder that nutrition is not just about what we eat, but also how, how much and for whom. It also talks about the harmful effects of adulteration that could turn even the healthiest foods into death traps.

Mumbai Watermelon Deaths

The case pertained to the death of 44-year-old Abdullah Dodakia, his wife Nasreen (35) and daughters Ayesha (16) and Zainab (12).

When “Healthy” Isn’t Harmless?

For centuries, watermelon is considered as a symbol of summer wellness. Watermelons are packed with antioxidants, natural sugars, water, and vitamins (A and C). However, the assumption that it is universally safe can be misleading. This is simply because not everyone’s body responds to foods in the same way.

Doctors across the world have indicated that individual health conditions, metabolic differences, allergies and even the quality of the fruit itself can influence outcomes. In the Mumbai case, early suspicions have pointed toward possible contamination, improper storage or underlying health vulnerabilities among those affected. Regardless of the exact cause, the larger lesson is clear that no food is entirely risk-free.

Is Watermelon For Everyone?

For instance, watermelon may not be suitable for certain groups of people. Individuals with diabetes, for instance, need to be cautious. Watermelon has a high glycaemic index, meaning it can cause rapid spikes in blood sugar levels. While its glycaemic load may be moderate when eaten in controlled portions, excessive intake can destabilize glucose control, especially in those with poorly managed diabetes.

People with kidney disorders also need to exercise care. Watermelon contains potassium, and while this mineral is essential for many bodily functions, excess potassium can be dangerous for those with compromised kidney function. It can lead to hyperkalaemia, a condition that affects heart rhythm and can become life-threatening.

Those with sensitive digestive systems may experience discomfort as well. Watermelon is rich in FODMAPs (fermentable carbohydrates), which can trigger bloating, gas or diarrhoea in individuals with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or similar conditions.

Allergic reactions, though rare, are another consideration. Some individuals may develop oral allergy syndrome after consuming watermelon, leading to itching or swelling in the mouth and throat. In severe cases, this could escalate into a more serious allergic response.

Digital Evaluation Speeds Up the Process? CBSE Class 12 Results 2026 Likely Before May, Students Brace for Big Day

CBSE- Class- 12th- Result- 2026
Google

CBSE Class 12th Result 2026: For lakhs of students across India, the wait for Class 12 results might finally be shorter this time. The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the 2026 results earlier than usual, possibly before May begins.

This is a noticeable shift from the usual mid-May timeline, and naturally, it has added both excitement and anxiety among students.

What’s Changed?

The key reason behind this faster timeline is the board’s growing reliance on digital evaluation. Instead of physically checking answer sheets, examiners now use scanned copies through an on-screen marking system.

In simple terms, this reduces the time spent handling papers, speeds up the checking process, and minimises calculation mistakes. What earlier took weeks can now be completed much faster—and more efficiently.

Less Waiting, But Same Pressure

While quicker results sound like good news, it also means students have less time to mentally prepare. Many are now refreshing the result websites daily, expecting an announcement anytime.

At the same time, schools and parents are advising students to stay calm and avoid unnecessary stress during this final phase of waiting.

Where and How to Check Results

Once declared, results will be available on official CBSE websites, along with platforms like DigiLocker and UMANG apps. Students should keep their roll number, admit card, and school details ready to avoid last-minute panic.

Accuracy Still Matters

CBSE Class 12th Result 2026: Even with faster processing, CBSE isn’t compromising on accuracy. The digital system improves consistency in marking and reduces human error.

Right now, it’s all about patience. The exams are over, the checking is nearly done, and the results are just around the corner.

For students, this moment always feels big. But whether the results come today or next week, one thing remains the same: it’s just one step in a much longer journey.

Mira Road Attack News: ATS BIG Reveal on Jaib Zubair Ansari, Flags Troubling Pattern of Online Influence, Check Latest Update

Mira- Road- Attack- News

Jaib Zubair Ansari (31) went up to security guards Rajkumar Mishra and Subroto Sen at an under-construction site in Mira Road East near Wockhardt Hospital around 4 AM on April 27, 2026. He wanted to know what religion they were and if they could recite the Kalma. When they couldn’t, he allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed them badly, with one person being critically hurt.

Local Mira-Bhayander police caught him on CCTV within 90 minutes, but the case screamed terror links.

ATS Takes Over: Shocking Discoveries

On Monday, the Maharashtra ATS took over the investigation and held Ansari—who has a degree in science, used to live in the US, and is an online chemistry tutor—until May 4. Raids in Mira Road, Thane, and Kurla found handwritten notes that were angry about “ISIS,” “real jihad,” and “Gaza.” He said that the attack was his “first step” to join the group.

His phone and laptop? Full of extremist videos, propaganda, and failed attempts to contact ISIS handlers on the dark web. Ansari was alone and jobless after being fired from his job in Abu Dhabi, and he was ready for online poison.

The Threat of Online Influence Is Growing

CM Devendra Fadnavis called it “self-radicalisation” because jihad calls on the internet to target people of other faiths. NIA worked with ATS to look for bigger networks, but it’s a classic lone wolf: personal problems, encrypted apps, and ISIS videos lead to deadly action.

This is a pattern: well-educated city dwellers turn to digital extremism when they lose their jobs or break up. Security is better in Mira-Bhayander; people are being told not to believe rumours.

What’s the next step in the investigation?

ATS forensic devices for handlers; victims heal slowly. If lone-wolf holds, it shows how quietly online radicalisation is growing. Stay tuned; a full update is on the way.

Raja Shivaji And The Vanishing 8 Minutes: What Changed In Riteish Deshmukh’s Hindi Version? Check Final Runtime

Raja Shivaji Hindi Version of Riteish Deshmukh Starrer Shorter by 8 mins

Raja Shivaji continues to stay in headlines ahead of its May 1 release. The main topic of discussion now is the film’s unusual runtime change. The historical film is releasing in both Marathi and Hindi, but both versions will not have the same length. The Hindi version is shorter by exactly eight minutes, making it one of the rare bilingual films with different runtimes.

This unexpected change has created curiosity among fans, especially because the film already has huge expectations. Riteish Deshmukh directs and stars in this grand period drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Raja Shivaji Hindi Version Gets Shorter Runtime

The Hindi version of Raja Shivaji was certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on April 28 with a U/A 16+ certificate. Its approved runtime is 187.05 minutes, which means the film is 3 hours, 7 minutes and 5 seconds long.

Earlier, the Marathi version got its censor certificate on April 24. That version runs for 195.05 minutes, or 3 hours, 15 minutes and 5 seconds. This means the Hindi version is exactly eight minutes shorter than the Marathi release.

No new cuts were reportedly suggested for the Hindi version. The only recommendation was that chapter names, dates, events, and locations should be shown in Hindi.

Why Were 8 Minutes Removed?

An industry insider explained the move to Bollywood Hungama and said, “Usually, two versions of a film have the exact same duration. However, Riteish Deshmukh has tried a novel experiment and kept the narrative crisp for the Hindi audience. Meanwhile, for the Marathi audience, which would probably be more attracted to the film due to the local flavour, the actor-director has gone for a longer version.”

Even the trailers hinted at this plan. The Marathi trailer is 3 minutes and 5 seconds long, while the Hindi promo is slightly shorter at 2 minutes and 59 seconds.

Vicky Kaushal Praises Raja Shivaji Action Sequences

Buzz around Raja Shivaji became stronger after Chhaava actor Vicky Kaushal watched a special glimpse of the film. In a video shared by JioStudios, Vicky met Riteish and praised the film. He said, “I don’t think Marathi cinema has seen an action sequence like this.”

Made on an estimated Rs 100 crore budget, Raja Shivaji is being called the most expensive Marathi film ever made. The film releases in Marathi and Hindi on May 1, on Maharashtra Day.

Riteish Deshmukh plays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while Rahyl Deshmukh appears as the younger Shivaji. The cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Genelia Deshmukh, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Fardeen Khan and a special cameo by Salman Khan.

UAE OPEC Exit: Emirates Ditches OPEC, OPEC+ and GCC, Rupee Nears 95! How India And Donald Trump Stand To Gain?

UAE OPEC Exit

UAE OPEC Exit: In a move that has stunned the entire world, the United Arab Emirates has decided to move out of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and OPEC+ along with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). India stands to gain by UAE’s OEPC withdrawals as it would mean softer prices, higher crude availability and stronger bilateral energy ties.

For USA, a divided OPEC is less capable of coordinating supply cuts that could potentially push prices upward. This aligns with the broader goal of Donald Trump to keep global energy prices in check.  In early trade on Wednesday, the Indian Rupee slipped 13 paise to 94.81 against the US dollar due to rising global crude oil prices.

UAE OPEC Exit-Reasons Behind The Walkout

The UAE would formally exit OPEC on May 1 to step away from production quotas. This would help UAE increase supply flexibility to ease global crude prices.

For long, United States President Donald Trump has accused OPEC of manipulating global oil markets to keep prices high artificially. Trump has argued repeatedly that OPEC rips off the world by inflating oil prices. The exit of UAE directly feeds into Trump’s narrative by exposing the bloc’s internal fractures.

Traditionally, OPEC has projected unity despite a series of disagreements over geopolitical tensions and production quotas.

OPEC, OPEC+ And GCC Members

The OPEC group consisted of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Venezuela, Algeria, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On the other hand, OPEC+ included Algeria, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Venezuela. The GCC included Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Will Iranian Oil Market Go Irrelevant?

According to media reports, Iranian oil market could be rendered irrelevant if both Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates start maxing out their oil production by the end of 2026.

The fire immediately spread to 10-12 flats in the Abhay Khand society and fire department was alerted immediately and rushed in. Smoke from the Ghaziabad fire tragedy could be seen from the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

Ghaziabad Fire Tragedy-Turn Of Events

Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal commented that teams of fire brigade departments are presently working to extinguish the fire. The society management immediately evacuated individuals and families trapped in the fire and started rescue operations much before fire department stepped in.

The tower where the fire broke out in Gaur Green Avenue Society has 13 floors.

A resident commented that there may have been some electricity issue behind the fire but he does not have full information as of now. There is no immediate confirmation of casualties or injuries as of now. Power supply to the society complex was immediately cut off as a precautionary step, resulting in the shutdown of society elevators.

Incidents Of Fire On The Rise

A few days back, fire broke out in a closed flat on the 22nd floor of Ajnara Green Society in Ghaziabad.

Another incident came from the Kanawani village in Indirapuram when more than 250 jhuggis were gutted after several LPG cylinders exploded. Riyan Parag Vaping Controversy Raises Bigger Question — Why Youth Icons Face Addiction, Is it Stress or Mental Breakdown?

Riyan- Parag
Google

Indian cricketer Riyan Parag (Rajasthan Royals) was caught on camera vaping while out with friends in Jaipur, which has raised controversy across social media platforms. This year’s IPL has seen Parag excel as an explosive batsman. His most recent IPL, when he scored 350 runs off a strike-rate of 165, therefore, he now finds himself apologising publicly (X).

Dealing with Stressors of Fame

While this incident may not be typical of an athlete’s life in professional sports, it does speak to the fact that there are many other athletes like Parag.

According to Dr Anjali Desai, all general-purpose athletes experience the “constant grind of the IPL, which includes: many games, travel, sponsorship opportunities and being constantly judged via social media 24 hours a day—and the stress these can produce can lead youth to the excessive use of fear-relieving substances. “

In fact, statistics from the National Crime Records Bureau indicate that the increase in substance use among young adult males (ages 18-25) living in urban areas is on the rise (an increase of 25% since 2023), and it is evident through the increased usage of both nicotine vapour and e-cigarettes.

Sometimes Mental Health Cracks Beyond Stress

Could it solely be stress? The realm of mental health professionals points to larger fractures. The journey Parag has travelled from being an Under-19 World Cup Champion to a staple on the IPL stage resembles many other young athletes’ paths, such as Prithvi Shaw’s disciplinary challenges or Ishan Kishan’s frustrations on the bench.

Can Systemic Change Occur?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) enforces anti-doping regulations in order to prohibit engagement in prohibited substances. As IPL 2026 unfolds, will professional leagues continue to contribute to the development of the minds of young athletes? Will they have an opportunity to continue their legacy, or will we see more stars fading away?
