Labeling the Martyrs’ Land of Sangrur as ‘Termite-Infested’ Reflects Bajwa’s Regressive Mindset: Kuldeep Dhaliwal

Punjab News

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab’s Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal launched a sharp attack on Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa over his statement where he referred to the land of Sangrur as one that produces ‘termites’. Dhaliwal termed this remark as a reflection of Bajwa’s low mentality and his ignorance of Punjab’s glorious history.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Dhaliwal said that Pratap Singh Bajwa should have studied the history of Sangrur before making such a statement. The land that gave birth to great patriots like Shaheed Udham Singh and Sewa Singh Thikriwala, and many important movements, calling it ‘termite-infested’ is extremely shameful. He added that Sangrur is a district that has always led revolutionary movements, whether it was the freedom struggle or the recent farmers’ movement.

Dhaliwal questioned whether the Congress leader Sant Ram Singla, on whose death anniversary Bajwa was speaking, was also a ‘termite’? He further said that how did the conscience of former minister Vijay Inder Singla, who was present there, not stop Bajwa from making such remarks about Sangrur? According to Bajwa, were former Chief Minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and her freedom fighter father Hira Singh Bhattal also ‘termite’? Bajwa should immediately apologize to the people of Punjab and the residents of Sangrur.

Launching a counterattack on Congress, Dhaliwal said that in reality, Congress itself is the ‘termite’ that has looted the country and Punjab for 75 years. He said, “Mr. Bajwa, you belong to the party that imposed Emergency in Punjab, carried out Operation Blue Star, orchestrated the massacre of Sikhs, and got thousands of youth killed in fake police encounters. From the coal scam to corruption by ministers like Sadhu Singh Dharamsot and Ashu during the Captain government, your party has only destroyed Punjab.”

Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party is not an ordinary party but a movement that rose from the same revolutionary soil of Sangrur, which has shaken the very foundations of major political strongholds like Captain Amarinder Singh, the Badal family, and Bhattal. He warned that the wave that started from Sangrur will reach Bajwa’s stronghold Qadian in 2027 and completely wipe out Congress. “Last time we won 92 seats, next time we will cross 100, because the people of Punjab will no longer tolerate Congress’s politics of loot and oppression.”

A Father’s Relief: Four-Month-Old Diljot’s ₹2.77 Lakh Care Covered Under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna; More Than 6,000 Newborns Treated in Just 3 Months

Punjab News

During the launch of Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna (MMSY) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has said, “Worry about the treatment, not the bills. The government will become your pocket.” For families like that of four-month-old Diljot, born to Rashpreet Kaur and Bharat Kumar in Abohar, those words have meant everything.

Diljot was diagnosed with a severe infection and a ventricular septal defect (VSD), a hole in the heart that develops before birth. Her parents took her to Bathinda for treatment, their only concern keeping her alive. The cost of intensive care was daunting until the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna stepped in. Diljot received specialised care, including round-the-clock monitoring, and her family did not have to worry about finances for a single day.

“The doctors told me my daughter has a hole in the heart. She was treated at two different hospitals, and the Sehat Card fully covered bills amounting to ₹2.77 lakhs” said Bharat Kumar, who runs a small salon in Abohar.

The scheme, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, ensures that families never have to choose between health and financial hardship. Under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, every mother and newborn can receive up to ₹10 lakh of cashless treatment annually, whether in government or empanelled private hospitals, from the earliest hours of a child’s life.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said, “We are conducting programmes in villages to ensure families get timely check-ups and do not delay treatment.” In the last three months alone, more than 6,000 neonatal cases have been treated under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, reflecting the scheme’s growing reach in providing timely medical care to newborns. The scheme supports treatment for conditions such as low birth weight, premature birth, infections, and other neonatal complications, while strengthening maternal and postnatal healthcare services.

Diljot’s case is not an isolated one. Across Punjab, families are bringing newborns for care in the critical early days, reassured that the cost of treatment will not fall on them.

At Aggarwal Hospital, Bathinda, a newborn with severe jaundice and respiratory distress received intensive care, with a treatment cost of ₹1 lakh fully covered under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna.

A few days old Mankirat Singh from Gadhaya, Patiala, required care for jaundice and breathing complications. His father, Balwinder Singh, said, “My son was born on March 25 and had a couple of complications. While we were worried about the newborn’s health, what worried us more was how we would cover the bills. Thanks to CM Bhagwant Mann’s scheme, the treatment cost was fully covered.”

Bimla Rani from Kotkapura, Faridkot recently gave birth to a baby requiring neonatal care. Her 18-day-old child is now safely receiving treatment under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, a family member confirmed.

These cases reflect a growing trend. Since the launch of Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, more families across Punjab are bringing mothers and newborns to hospitals within the first 72 hours, improving health outcomes and reducing complications that worsen with delay.

The Punjab Government continues to encourage residents to enrol for the Sehat Card at designated centres and through on-ground camps to avail cashless treatment benefits under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna.

Desi Ghee Benefits: Ghee has long been misunderstood as a fattening food that increases cholesterol. But recent research and Ayurveda tell a very different story. Desi ghee is not just a cooking ingredient—it’s a healing superfood packed with nutrients like Omega-3, Omega-9, butyric acid, and vitamins A, D, E and K2.

Delhi-based doctor Saleem Zaidi shared in his YouTube video on Healthy Hamesha eight simple ghee remedies that can improve digestion, skin, joints, sleep and immunity. These remedies are easy to make at home without any extra cost.

Many people avoid ghee out of fear, but there’s a huge difference between refined oils and desi ghee. Refined oils contain harmful chemicals due to processing, while desi ghee is natural, nourishing and safe when consumed in the right quantity. Studies show that moderate ghee consumption does not increase heart disease risk and may even aid in fat burning.

Top 5 Desi Ghee Benefits For Digestion, Joints And Hormones

  1. Relieves Constipation:
    • Desi ghee acts as a natural lubricant for the intestines.
    • Mix one spoon of ghee in warm water or milk and drink on an empty stomach or before bed.
    • Continue for 7 days to notice improved digestion and a lighter stomach.
  2. Soothe Throat Issues:
    • Mix ghee with turmeric and black pepper for a dry cough, sore throat or phlegm.
    • Another option: ghee with honey and a few drops of ginger juice before bed.
    • Avoid mixing ghee and honey in equal quantities; one should be higher than the other.
  3. Reduce Acidity:
    • Ghee coats the stomach lining, protecting it from acid.
    • Take a spoon of ghee in warm milk before bed or half a spoon before meals to reduce heartburn and acid reflux.
  4. Improve Joint Health:
    • Ghee lubricates joints internally, reducing stiffness and pain.
    • Take a spoon on an empty stomach with warm water and massage stiff joints with warm ghee.
    • Within 21 days, most users notice significant relief.
  5. Hormonal Balance for Women:
    • Helps reduce PMS, cramps, bloating and mood swings.
    • Consume two spoons daily in food, starting a week before periods until they end.

Topical Desi Ghee Benefits

  • Dark Circles & Puffy Eyes: Massage small amounts under eyes before bed for 2–3 weeks.
  • Dry Nasal Passages & Sinus Relief: Apply 2–3 drops of warm ghee in each nostril in the morning.
  • Better Sleep: Massage slightly warm ghee on feet 15–20 minutes before bed to relax the nervous system.

Precautions:

  • Avoid ghee during a fever.
  • Consult a doctor if you have high cholesterol, liver issues, or jaundice.
  • People with high Kapha should take smaller amounts with warming spices like ginger or black pepper.
  • Always choose high-quality, pure desi ghee—homemade or trusted cow ghee is best.
  • Recommended intake: 1–2 spoons per day.

Desi ghee is not just food—it’s medicine from your kitchen. When used wisely, its benefits for digestion, immunity, sleep, joints, and overall health are unmatched.

Questioning Sri Akal Takht Sahib’s Decisions Reflects Sukhbir Badal’s Frustration: Malvinder Singh Kang

Malvinder Kang

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament Malvinder Singh Kang launched a sharp attack on Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, stating that questioning the credibility of the Sikh supreme institution, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, reflects Badal’s frustration and his lack of respect for Sikh maryada.

Kang said that the way Sukhbir Badal is now targeting sacred institutions after witnessing his political ground slipping is extremely unfortunate.

MP Kang reminded that when Sukhbir Singh Badal was earlier summoned by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, he had admitted all his mistakes in the holy presence of Guru Maharaj. The entire world had witnessed him accepting his faults through a live broadcast. However, immediately after that, during a rally in Sri Muktsar Sahib, he changed his tone and shamelessly claimed that he had committed no wrongdoing. This double character reflects his arrogance and his disregard for the Sikh community.

Reacting strongly to Sukhbir Badal’s recent statement in which he alleged a ‘conspiracy’ against him at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Kang said that such a grave disrespect or mistake is something even a non-Sikh would not commit.

He said that when the five Singh Sahiban, sitting in the presence of Guru Maharaj, delivered a decision based on Sikh maryada and glorious history, terming it a ‘conspiracy’ is a shameful act.

Kang said that for the wrongdoings Sukhbir Singh Badal has committed against Punjab and the Sikh Panth, the people of Punjab have already been punishing him continuously. But now, the way he has questioned the credibility and decisions of the Sikh supreme institution, the entire Panth will never forgive him. The community and the Sangat will hold him accountable for this act of disrespect in the coming time.

Breast Cancer: Can Flaxseed Prevent Carcinoma? Eminent Health Coach Shares Tips To Manage

Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer: Every year, millions of girls and women across the globe are diagnosed with breast cancer – one of the most debilitating health conditions. While age and genetics remain big risk factors, growing attention is being paid these days to lifestyle and dietary interventions to reduce the risk. Among these, flaxseed has emerged as a significant subject of scientific interest.

Understanding Breast Cancer And Modifiable Risks

Breast Cancer develops abnormal cells in the breast tissue that start proliferating abnormally, often influenced by environmental, genetic and hormonal factors. Obesity, estrogen exposure, alcohol consumption, poor dietary habits and sedentary lifestyle could be some of the biggest modifiable contributors. Thankfully, preventive strategies like the consumption of flaxseed could help in improving hormonal balance, reducing inflammation and supporting cellular health.

What Makes Flaxseed Unique?

Flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) is a rich source of Lignans (phytoestrogens) that helps in modulating estrogen activity. They are also a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) that are known for their powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Flaxseed is also an excellent source of dietary fibre that supports gut health and metabolic balance.

What Does the Evidence Say?

Several observational studies and clinical trials have demonstrated that flaxseed’s lignans could be beneficial to reduce the effects of stronger endogenous estrogen. Moreover, flaxseed could help in slowing down the proliferation of cancerous tumours and angiogenesis. It could also be helpful to reduce tumour markers in certain patients.

To get started, you may consume 1-2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed daily. It is best to prefer freshly ground seeds for better nutrient absorption and you may add flaxseed to curd, oatmeal, smoothies or whole-grain dough.

‘Try Making Zakir Khan Act Or Dance…’ Sona Mohapatra Defends Alia Bhatt Amid Trolling Over ‘Cringey’ Performance At Awards Show

Alia Bhatt faced heavy online criticism after hosting the Screen Awards 2026 for the first time. She shared the stage with comedian Zakir Khan and actor Sunil Grover on April 5. While some viewers appreciated her effort, many called her performance “cringey,” “overacting,” or “high-pitched.” Others felt her jokes didn’t land and failed to connect with the audience.

Amid the backlash, singer Sona Mohapatra stepped in to support Alia and explain how difficult it is to perform live in front of a Bollywood crowd.

Sona Mohapatra Backs Alia Bhatt

Sona posted a video on April 8 defending Alia’s effort as a live host. She said, “First things first, guys, it was live. Live means no retake, no edit, no filter, no rethink. And honestly, doing such authentic work in Bollywood is a big stunt. Most desi actors won’t even pick up that mic. She gave it a shot and that itself is amazing.”

She also explained why the audience can affect a performance. Bollywood events often feature stars more focused on their outfits, selfies or networking than the stage. Sona added, “Performance is not only on stage when it’s live. The audience and the room in front of you also have to perform… Even when they’re around for a good cause, they’re like dead. Their vibes there will be, ‘My outfit is better than hers’, ‘Which important actor, director’s eye can I catch?’ And oh my God, it’s a tough, tough audience.”

Sona praised celebrities like Ranveer Singh, who genuinely react to performances, and reminded everyone not to compare Alia with Zakir Khan. She said, “He’s an ustad of stand-up. Try getting him to act or dance like Alia, you’ll get your answer.”

Encouraging Alia, Sona concluded, “Next time, I think Alia will do even better. Or Bollywood, learn to laugh a little. It won’t kill you.”

Why Alia Was Criticised

Alia’s hosting debut drew criticism mainly for her awkward delivery and lack of comedic timing. Many viewers felt her “roast-style” jokes fell flat, and viral clips showed a muted response from the celebrity audience.

Many said she tried to imitate Western hosts, which didn’t suit her personality. Specific moments, like a joke about director Mohit Suri, were seen as nervous or shaky.

Delhi News: Sasta Ghar Now A Reality! Economical Flats By Metro & Namo Bharat Stations To Revolutionize NCR Living

Delhi News

Delhi News: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has notified the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Regulations and Charges, 2026, to restructure urban growth in Delhi NCR across mass transit corridors.

Delhi News-What’s Special?

The applicability of TOD now extends along the full length of proposed and operational regional rapid transit system (RRTS) and metro corridors instead of being limited only to certain station nodes. A maximum Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 50 is now allowed on plots of 2000 square metres or more with an 18 meters road. Importantly, 65 percent of the area should be used for residential units that are smaller than 100 square metres so that a steady supply of affordable housing is ensured.

Of the remaining area, 25 percent provides flexibility for studio apartments, guest houses or offices while 10 percent is for amenities and local shops.

Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced that the development would help in optimizing land use and promoting sustained mobility via mixed-use, compact development by leveraging public transit infrastructure.

What is “Transit Oriented Development (TOD)”?

TOD refers to a form of urban planning strategy under which the primary focus is on concentrating housing, shops and offices within walking distance of high-capacity public transport solutions. Acting as a sustainable mobility catalyst, Transit Oriented Development helps in significantly cutting down the requirement for long commutes and private vehicles by placing everything citizens require near a RRTS or metro hub.

The concept manifests a seamless and out-of-the-box transition from spreading outward (urban sprawl) to building upward (compact growth). This helps in maximizing the most optimal utilization of expensive city land. The TOD for MoHUA is a primary lever for benchmarking a trajectory where Delhi NCR becomes a less congested, more liveable and environmentally friendly city. It would also encourage people to work and live near RRTS and Metro stations, helping reduce the carbon footprint of Delhi NCR.

Delhi Dehradun Expressway: Planning A Quick NCR Escape To Lansdowne? Check Toll And Time Saved Before You Hit The Road

Delhi Dehradun Expressway

Delhi Dehradun Expressway: If you’re living in Delhi NCR and craving for a delightful mountain escape on weekends, a trip to Lansdowne could be nothing less than heaven on earth. With the Delhi Dehradun Expressway cutting down the distance from 6-8 hours to just 3-4 hours, the drive could be just as rewarding as the destination itself.

Delhi Dehradun Expressway-What Makes It Special?

Anyone who has driven before out from Delhi NCR to Uttarakhand knows the usual drill of early morning alarms, hectic drives characterized by traffic congestion and inevitable bottlenecks near Ghaziabad or Meerut. The Delhi–Dehradun Expressway changes that narrative 360 degrees as it offers a faster, smoother and far more predictable route for travel and tourism enthusiasts.

Toll Costs: What to Expect?

The estimated toll rates for private cars and SUVs is Rs. 675 for one-way and Rs. 1010 for return trip. For Light Commercial Vehicles (mini vans), the charges are about Rs. 1100 for a single ride while Buses and 2-Axle Trucks would pay about Rs. 2300 for a one-way trip.

The best thing about the Doon Expressway is that you aren’t required to pay at every toll booth. Once you enter the expressway, the system would log you and you would pay only for the distance actually travelled once you exit.

The Drive: More Than Just a Route

What makes the journey to Lansdowne from Delhi NCR special is not just the reduced hours but how the landscape unfolds. You start off with the familiar edges of Delhi – the flyovers, metro lines and the steady hum of urban life. Soon, the scenery starts to soften and the horizons start stretching wider.

As you move ahead, the terrain starts shifting subtly. Small roadside settlements, sugarcane fields and patches of forest start to appear before your eyes. Once you take the turn toward Kotdwar, the gateway to Lansdowne, the real charm begins! The air cools, the roads narrow and the pine scent creeps in via the car windows. This is where the expressway hands you over to the hills, and the journey becomes intimate.

Cocktail 2 is building after the release of the 1st look of the film’s first song “Jab Talak”. The movie brings together Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, with Homi Adajania returning as director. Last month, the song was first shown in theatres alongside Dhurandhar 2. Now, it is available digitally for fans to watch.

The song is set at a beachside party and shows the trio enjoying the sun and music. Composer Pritam’s upbeat number is sung by Arijit Singh and Akasa Singh, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The one-minute-50-second video captures the actors dancing, laughing and having fun.

Netizens Question Rashmika Mandanna’s Casting In Cocktail 2

Even though fans were excited, reactions to the song were mixed. Many compared it to the original beach hit “Tum Hi Ho Bandhu” from the first Cocktail. Some viewers felt that Rashmika Mandanna did not fit well with the group.

Shahid Kapoor shared the song’s first look on social media, writing, “The summer just got hotter. #JabTalak first look out now.”

Reacting to it, a user wrote, “They should have casted someone else in place of Rashmika, she is not fitting the group.”

Another commented, “Tum hi ho bandhu was much better than this.”

A third user said, “Rashmika is a very poor choice.”

One more shared, “Yeh sb chapri pana mat karo.”

A user said, “Vibe nhi hai.”

First Look Posters Introduce The Trio

The official posters for Cocktail 2 were released earlier. They show Shahid Kapoor driving a vintage open-roof convertible, with Rashmika Mandanna in the front passenger seat and Kriti Sanon in the back. The ocean and sandy beaches create a relaxed summer vibe. Shahid plays Kunal, Kriti is Ally and Rashmika is Diya in the film.

Cocktail 2 is promoted as a spiritual sequel, keeping the feel and themes of the original rather than continuing its story. Shahid and Kriti reunite after their 2024 hit Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Diya, while Rashmika comes off her success in The Girlfriend, which won her critical praise.

Anurag Dhanda: TMC Alleges Misconduct by Chief Election Commissioner, Row Erupts Over Meeting Remarks

A political controversy has surfaced after AAP leader Anurag Dhanda amplified claims made by a delegation of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) against the Chief Election Commissioner. Sharing the allegation on social media, Dhanda termed the incident “huge” and “shocking if true,” drawing attention to the seriousness of the claims.

Anurag Dhanda: TMC delegation alleges ‘Get Lost’ remark

According to TMC leaders, during a recent meeting with the Election Commission of India, the Chief Election Commissioner allegedly told their delegation to “get lost” within minutes of the interaction.

The delegation claimed that the meeting lasted only about seven minutes. They further alleged that the tone used during the conversation was inappropriate.

Concerns over institutional conduct

TMC representatives stated that as one of the largest opposition parties in the country, they expected a more respectful engagement with the constitutional authority. The remarks, if verified, could raise concerns about the conduct and neutrality of the Election Commission, especially during politically sensitive periods.

No official response yet

As of now, there has been no official response from the Election Commission regarding the allegations. The claims remain unverified.

Political observers note that such disputes between opposition parties and constitutional bodies often trigger wider debates on institutional accountability.

Political reactions likely to intensify

The issue is expected to gain traction in the coming days, with opposition parties likely to demand clarification. It may also lead to calls for transparency in interactions between political delegations and the Election Commission.

Experts believe that maintaining institutional decorum is crucial. Any deviation, if proven, could impact public trust.

Acne: Terror On Your Plate! These Food Products Are Red Flags For Your Skin, Nutritionist Warns On Dangers

Acne

Acne: For decades, acne has been dismissed as a superficial skin concerns. But what if you were being told that the real culprit behind acne breakouts is on your plate? Yes, you read that correct!

More and more skin experts and nutritionists have suggested over the years that there is a strong association between diet and acne breakouts. While hormones, genetics and skincare habits do play a big role in acne, diet remains one of the most underestimated triggers of acne breakouts.

This is simply because foods that spike blood sugar, promote inflammation or disrupt hormonal balance provide the perfect internal environment for acne and other skin disorders to thrive.

Acne-Common Culprits

Whey Protein: A Fitness Staple with a Hidden Cost

Popular among fitness enthusiasts, whey protein could aggravate acne. Derived from milk, it stimulates the production of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) that is associated with increased sebum production. Excess sebum production could clog pores and create an environment conducive to acne-causing bacteria. Moreover, whey protein may influence androgen hormones in the body to stimulate oil glands, resulting in persistent and severe acne, especially along the jawline and cheeks.

Pastries: Sugar, Refined Flour and Inflammation

For most of us, pastries are a comfort and indulgent food but they are loaded with flours and refined sugars. Packed with a high glycaemic index, pastries can rapidly spike blood sugar levels to create a surge in insulin. This, in turn, promotes inflammation and increases the production of oil in the skin.

Milkshakes: A Perfect Storm of Acne Triggers

Milkshakes are the perfect food to start the breakout of acne. They include sugar, dairy and artificial additives. Dairy is associated with acne because of its effects on hormones like IGF-1. Sugar content could result in insulin spikes while artificial additives may increase inflammation.

Potato Chips: Processed, Greasy and Inflammatory

Potato Chips are highly processed foods that are usually rich in unhealthy fats, sodium and refined carbs. All of them contribute to systemic inflammation that is a key driver of acne.

White Bread: The Silent Skin Killer

It lacks essential nutrients and fibre and could rapid spikes in blood sugar levels. This would increase insulin levels, resulting in triggered oil production and inflammation.

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge director Aditya Dhar recently shared a long social media post praising casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Dhar highlighted Chhabra’s key role in shaping Ranveer Singh starrer and making it feel real. The post quickly went viral, and Chhabra responded with his own heartfelt message.

Chhabra tweeted, “Reading this post, I’m feeling very emotional. I honestly don’t know what to say. Thank you so much…I love you. The love and respect you give to every HOD and every individual on set is something very rare something most people don’t give in Bollywood. I’m truly happy and very proud of you. Love you, brother.”

Check his post below

What Dhurandhar 2 Director Aditya Dhar Said

In his post, Dhar explained how Chhabra believed in the vision of Dhurandhar from the very start. He pushed the film further than Dhar himself had imagined. While Dhar admits he was cautious, Chhabra encouraged him to think bigger and pay attention to every detail.

Casting a large film like this was a huge challenge. Dhar said his brief to Chhabra was simple: find the best actors, whether new or experienced, big or small. Chhabra took the task seriously. He spent long hours breaking down each character, discussing choices and exploring options.

Aditya Dhar said Chhabra’s work went beyond simply filling roles. “Every actor, even in small parts, was chosen to feel authentic and true to the world of the film,” he wrote. Beyond his professional skill, Chhabra was a loyal friend who stood by the film even when doubts arose.

Casting Can Make Or Break A Film, Says Dhar

Dhar also highlighted the importance of casting in filmmaking. He said it can make or break a movie, yet casting directors rarely get the recognition they deserve. He added, “This film carries your choices in every single frame Mukesh! Endless gratitude, respect and love for you.”

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge continues performing strongly at the box office. On Day 20, the film collected Rs 10.10 crore in India, bringing its India net total to Rs 1033.37 crore. Its worldwide gross has reached Rs 1,641.21 crore so far, showing the film’s huge commercial success. Apart from Ranveer, the franchise stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhav, Rakesh Bedi and many others in important roles.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Highlights Achievements, Says Focus on Development and Welfare

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday highlighted major achievements of his government, emphasizing a governance model driven by action rather than promises.

The Chief Minister stated that over 65,000 jobs have been provided, reflecting the government’s commitment to employment generation in the state.

Bhagwant Mann: Closure of toll plazas and relief measures

Among the key decisions, the government has shut down 19 toll plazas, providing relief to commuters. Officials said the move has reduced the financial burden on daily travelers.

The step is being seen as part of broader efforts to improve public convenience and reduce costs for citizens.

Focus on healthcare and education infrastructure

The government has expanded healthcare services through the establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics across Punjab. These clinics aim to provide accessible and affordable healthcare to residents.

In addition, new schools and hospitals are being constructed to strengthen public infrastructure. Authorities noted that improving education and healthcare remains a priority.
