Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met with key business leaders, including Uno Minda Ltd. Chairman & MD Nirmal Kumar Minda, JBM Group Chairman & MD S.K. Arya, and Flipkart’s Vice President of Government Affairs Dheeraj Kapoor along with Director Tushar Mukherjee. Also present was True Habitat founder Shyamroop Roy Chowdhury.
During the meeting, the CM extended warm Holi greetings to the business community and discussed the upcoming Haryana Budget 2024-25, which will be presented on March 17.
Haryana Emerging as India’s Leading Auto & Logistics Hub
Haryana has established itself as a key automotive manufacturing hub, home to major companies like Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, Suzuki Motorcycles, JBM, and Uno Minda. The government is actively working to strengthen the logistics sector, further boosting the state's economic growth.
One of the major highlights of the discussion was Flipkart’s initiative to set up Asia’s largest fulfillment center at Patli Hajipur, Manesar, reinforcing Haryana’s position as a premier logistics hub.
Boost to Medical Tourism & Wholesale Trade Infrastructure
The government is also focusing on developing Haryana as a medical tourism destination, aiming to attract domestic and international patients seeking high-quality healthcare services.
In addition, plans are underway to establish a wholesale trade center near the national capital. The CM recently held discussions with representatives of Delhi Electrical Traders Association (DETA) regarding this initiative. The first wholesale complex is set to be developed in Rai, Sonipat, marking a significant step in strengthening the region’s trade infrastructure.

CM Saini reaffirmed Haryana’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, supporting industrial expansion, and attracting new investments. With robust policies and strategic infrastructure projects, Haryana continues to solidify its position as a key economic powerhouse in the country.
