Iran Protest: Has the Iranian President resigned and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi left Beirut? According to recent reports, Masoud Pezeshkian has resigned wile Abbas Araghchi has left Beirut earlier than expected. Meanwhile, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has termed Donald Trump “arrogant” and alleged that Trump’s hands were stained with the blood of Iranians. Amid growing nationwide protests in Iran, is this the right time for troops of Donald Trump to go for the kill?

Interestingly, Trump has warned Khamenei in the past that USA would attack Iran with full force if the Iranian government keeps killing innocent protestors.

The state media of Iran has accused “terrorist agents” of Israel and the United States for sparking violence in the Islamic Republic. In a speech broadcast, Khamenei said Iran would not back down in the face of vandalism. Tehran’s prosecutor declared that Iranian protestors may face the death penalty. An Islamic Revolutionary Guard official issued a warning on state television that parents are warned not to send their children to participate in protests else they should not complain if a bullet hits their children.

A black-clad riot-police officer in a Kurdish city in northwest Iran said many in his police station believe that the present-day Iranian regime is all set to collapse any day.

Hossein Hafezian, a New Jersey-based Iran expert and political scientist, remarked the Iranian regime would use brute force as the protests are now an existential threat to them.

A Tehran doctor has confirmed that more than 217 protestor deaths have taken place till now in just 6 hospitals of the country, primarily by live ammunition. If confirmed, the death count of innocent protestors signal a feared cracked presaged by the near-told shutdown of the country’s phone and internet connections by the Islamic regime since Thursday night.

Iran Protest Reaching New Heights

Demonstrations in Iran now span all 31 provinces in the country. The protests that started against an economy free-fall soon gained momentum after Reza Pahlavi, the exiled Crown Prince of Iran, urged Iranians to increase the momentum of their protests to throw out the Khamenei regime.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Ashok Leyland’s new EV plant in Lucknow, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, a member from the parliamentary constituency of Lucknow, co-inaugurated it. According to this, the occurrence symbolizes an important milestone in the transition to ‘green industry growth’ by the state.

Plant Details and Installed Capacities

The plant is situated in the Sarojini Nagar industrial area and is presently working on the manufacturing of electric commercial vehicles, mainly buses. It has an annual manufacturing capacity of 2,500 units, which will increase to 5,000 units through phased development.

Ashok Leyland set up the facility in only 14 months, thanks to the support of the state administration. This is the first manufacturing facility of this company in Uttar Pradesh.

CM’S COMMENTS ON TRANSFORMATION

Yogi Adityanath spoke of progress made since 2017.He also stated that prior to his own accession to power, there was lawlessness, an unwelcoming environment for investors, and even those investors present wanting to leave in Uttar Pradesh.

“Currently, the state is preferred not only among locals, but from across the world owing to the availability of strong ‘law and order’ and favorable ‘policies,’ and infrastructure development,” he said.

Focus on Jobs, Sustainability, and National Goals

The plant is supposed to generate direct and indirect employment for thousands of youth within the region. He linked the project to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for ‘Viksit’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ by 2047, Make in India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

He emphasized that electric vehicles will definitely help solve a lot of global problems and provide further opportunities for sustainable development. While inaugurating the conclave, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh termed it a proud moment for him, saying Uttar Pradesh had emerged as a hub not only for industries but national security projects, comprising a defence industrial corridor.

Ashok Leyland Chairman Dheeraj Hinduja thanked the state’s reliable ecosystem for industrial development. This inauguration underlines the continuing industrial expansion in Uttar Pradesh and simultaneously ushers in a force for clean energy solutions.

Donald Trump: US Bullies India Over Venezuela Oil, Will India Oblige America at Russia’s Cost?

Donald Trump

Donald Trump: United States Energy Secretary Christopher Wright has remarked there Washington would be open to sell Venezuela oil to “almost all countries” including China and India.

Now, a senior Trump administration official has remarked that USA would permit India to purchase oil of Venezuela under a framework controlled by Washington that is yet to be finalized.

It was further noted by Wright that Venezuela oil would not just be restricted to a single or two destinations but also to buyers from Asia, Europe, America and other regions that had already expressed an interest to buy it.

Donald Trump-Oil Pressure Tactics on India

India was among one of the largest buyers of Venezuela oil before trade was halted due to sanctions by the United States. The proposed arrangement by the Trump administration could now offer India an alternative source to diversify its imports of energy resources at a time when domestic demand in the country is at the peak.

Previously, Donald Trump had remarked that the United States would be refining and selling 5 million barrels of Venezuela crude oil under a new arrangement. This was after US troops forcibly captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

India’s Reliance Industries has remarked that it doesn’t expect any oil deliveries from Russia in the month of January. This follows repeated warnings by the Trump administration that import tariffs on India could raise as high as a staggering 500 percent if India does not stop buying Russian oil.

US Senator Lindsey Graham remarked that the US President now has the greenlit legislation to “punish” countries like Brazil, China and India for purchasing Russian crude despite sanctions.

Meanwhile, India has stood firm that it would keep purchasing Russian oil as it is driven by national interest. India stressed the requirement for affordable energy to maintain economic stability and protect consumers.

Jana Nayagan: ‘I’m Very Happy, Wished For…’ Parasakthi Actor Sivakarthikeyan Reacts After Clash With Thalapathy Vijay Starrer Averted

Parasakthi Actor Sivakarthikeyan on averted clash and delay of Jana Nayagan

Tamil cinema witnessed a dramatic turn of events this Pongal season, and Sivakarthikeyan has finally shared his thoughts. The actor, whose milestone 25th film Parasakthi released in theatres today, reacted calmly and positively after its much-anticipated box office clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan was unexpectedly averted.

Initially, the festive weekend was expected to be a high-voltage face-off between the two stars. Sivakarthikeyan had even described the situation as an “Annan Thambi Pongal,” urging audiences to celebrate the festival by watching both films. However, the sudden delay in Jana Nayagan’s release changed things entirely.

Sivakarthikeyan On Jana Nayagan Delay And Competition With It

Speaking during a casual media interaction in Chennai on Friday, Sivakarthikeyan admitted that the postponement came as a surprise. He said, “This was very unexpected. No one thought the film would get postponed. I wished for the audience to watch both the films. There have been a lot of unexpected developments and updates over the last 15 days. We were learning new things every day.”

The actor also opened up about the uncertainty surrounding Parasakthi’s own release, especially due to certification delays. He explained, “Even yesterday when I was in Trichy at the promotional event for the film, we knew we still didn’t have the censor certificate, but we kept doing our work. Today, we know that Parasakthi will be releasing on January 10.”

Importantly, Sivakarthikeyan made it clear that competition has never been his driving force. He remarked, “I don’t like to compete with anyone – there is a lot of space for everyone in this film industry. If I wanted to compete, I’d have become an athlete or a boxer.”

Parasakthi Actor On Online Negativity, Career Choices And More

Addressing online negativity and controversies, the actor said, “I prefer to focus on my work. Anonymous people talk on social media, and I am only answerable to people I know personally. Nowadays, I spend more time with family and close friends. I am very happy. If I log onto social media, it looks like everyone including President Trump is criticising us.”

Sivakarthikeyan’s career choices have also sparked discussion. While veterans like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are increasingly making films aimed at Gen Z audiences, Sivakarthikeyan has opted for a serious period political drama with Parasakthi. Explaining his approach, he said, “I want to explore all genres in my career. Kamal Haasan has acted in more than 230 films, and Rajinikanth is doing his 173rd film. I don’t think I’ll be able to do so many films in my career. I want to do the best films I can and as many genres as possible.”

On the controversies surrounding the CBFC, the actor maintained a balanced view. He concluded by saying, “As for the controversies around the CBFC, everyone has a different point of view and their own perceptions. Maybe we should send films for certification much more in advance.”

About Parasakthi, Jana Nayagan Delay

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Parasakthi is set in 1965 Madras against the backdrop of the anti-Hindi imposition agitations. The film follows Chezhiyan, a peaceful railway employee whose life changes when his brother becomes deeply involved in student protests, triggering a tense political and personal conflict. The film features Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela in her Tamil debut, with music by G. V. Prakash Kumar.

Meanwhile, Jana Nayagan, starring Thalapathy Vijay, remains in limbo due to an ongoing legal battle with the CBFC. Although a single judge initially ordered the issuance of a U/A 16+ certificate, the decision was stayed by a division bench hours later. With the next hearing scheduled for January 21, 2026, the film has missed its Pongal release, leaving fans awaiting clarity.

Delhi News: There was a significant fall in the temperatures of the city after the cold wave increased in the national capital of India, Delhi. People woke up to the biting winds, resulting in reduced visibility, thereby making it one of the coldest mornings of this season. However, the cold weather has restricted people from venturing out in the early morning.

Described As: Dense Fog Returns, Visibility Slashed

Dense fog again hit some areas in Delhi in heavy measures. This impacted the visibility levels considerably. According to the latest observations regarding the weather, visibility became close to zero in some parts during the early morning. Roads, national markets, and residential areas were still covered under dense fog.

Major Disruptions in Indian Airports

The low visibility affected many flights at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. There were delays for some flights, and others experienced diversion due to low visibility on the runway. Airlines published travel advisories and encouraged customers to check the status of their flights prior to proceeding to the airport. Low Visibility Procedures governed the flow of air traffic.

IMD Advisory and Weather Outlook

Delhi News: According to the India Meteorological Department, “The decrease in temperature is due to the influence of cold northwesterly winds along with the moisture levels that favor the formation of fog.” The country’s Meteorological Department has forecast that “foggy conditions will continue to prevail in the coming days with minimum temperatures staying below average.”

Impact on Daily Life and Travel

The effect of the cold weather and the resultant fog has been felt in the daily activities of people, especially those from the working class going to offices, school-going kids, and the elderly. There were minor train delays too; road travelers were requested to drive carefully.

Specialists in meteorology predict that the intensity may alleviate slightly during the daytime with the increasing intensity of the sun’s rays, resulting in a reduction in the density of fog. Nonetheless, nights will remain cool with fog until the wind patterns change.

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 1: Prabhas Starrer Earns Around 2X More Than Dhurandhar, Fails To Beat Kalki 2898 AD, Pushpa 2

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 1: The Raja Saab finally arrived in theatres on January 9, 2026, riding on massive expectations. The buzz was natural. After all, this marked Prabhas’ first-ever horror film and a rare shift from his usual action-heavy roles. The intriguing posters and the promise of a horror-comedy-fantasy added to the curiosity. However, once the film hit the big screen, audience reactions turned out to be sharply divided.

Despite mixed to negative word of mouth, The Raja Saab managed to post a solid opening at the Indian box office.

The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 1

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected around Rs 45 crore nett in India on its first official day. In addition, it earned Rs 9.15 crore from special premiere shows held on Thursday across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala. This takes its total India collection to approximately Rs 54.4 crore within the first 24 hours.

Interestingly, the film has comfortably outperformed Dhurandhar and Chhaava on day one. Chhaava, which was the biggest opener of 2025, had earned Rs 31 crore on its release day, while Dhurandhar debuted at Rs 28 crore nett. By comparison, The Raja Saab earned nearly double that figure, making its opening undeniably impressive on paper.

The film sold around 5.62 lakh tickets in India (including block seats), generating Rs 28.09 crore in advance sales. Telugu markets led the charge, followed by Hindi. Occupancy levels tell a similar story. The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 57.16% across 2,650 shows. Hindi occupancy was much lower at 15.63% across 2,742 shows, while the Tamil version saw an occupancy of 22.69% across 370 shows.

That said, The Raja Saab also marks Prabhas’ weakest opening in the post-pandemic era. This was somewhat expected. The film is not a mass action entertainer, and its advance bookings opened relatively late. Compared to Prabhas’ earlier blockbusters, the numbers were low. Salaar opened at Rs 90 crore, Kalki 2898 AD at Rs 95 crore, and even Adipurush debuted at Rs 86 crore before its sharp decline. It also failed to beat the opening day of Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa 2.

FilmOpening Day Collection (India Nett)
DhurandharRs 28 crore
ChhaavaRs 31 crore
The Raja SaabRs 45 crore
AdipurushRs 86 crore
SalaarRs 90 crore
Kalki 2898 ADRs 95 crore
Pushpa 2Rs 164 crore

The film also made headlines by dethroning Dhurandhar from the TOP spot at the Indian box office. Ranveer Singh-starrer had been leading for five weeks. The Raja Saab surpassed Dhurandhar’s Thursday haul of Rs 4.25 crore with ease during its morning shows itself.

About The Film

Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is a Telugu-language horror-comedy-fantasy centred on Raju, played by Prabhas. The story follows an orphan living with his grandmother, Gangamma, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Her longing for her missing husband leads Raju to a haunted ancestral mansion in Hyderabad, where he discovers that his grandfather has returned as a malevolent spirit.

The film features Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, Boman Irani as a psychiatrist and Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads. With a runtime of 189 minutes and a reported budget of Rs 400–450 crore, The Raja Saab is among the most expensive Telugu films of 2026.

World Hindi Day 2026: Why Gen Z Is Choosing Hindi Over English On Social Media? Current Stats Surprise

World Hindi Day 2026

World Hindi Day 2026 is being celebrated today, on January 10. Lately, there’s a growing buzz about how India’s youth are changing the way people communicate online. Gen Z (roughly 14 to 24 years old) is no longer satisfied with English alone. Hindi and Hinglish (a mix of Hindi and English) are becoming increasingly popular on social media, showing a major shift in how young Indians express themselves.

According to YouTube’s 2025 trend report, 77% of Gen Z in India watched content dubbed or translated into Hindi this year. Even more surprising, 68% of them now use Hindi slang, phrases, or expressions from online videos in their daily chats. This shows that Hindi is not just entertainment. It is shaping the way Gen Z communicates and builds identity online.

World Hindi Day 2026: Relatability And Culture Make Hindi Popular

Hindi and Hinglish connect deeply with Gen Z’s culture. The language includes cricket references, Bollywood jokes, festival phrases and local idioms that English cannot capture. Online content in Hindi feels personal and relatable.

Data supports this trend. Hindi videos get higher watch times, likes, and shares compared to English content on platforms like YouTube. Creators who use Hindi or Hinglish reach larger audiences, including people in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where English is less common.

This shift is not limited to videos. On social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), Hinglish is increasingly used in captions, comments, and hashtags. A study by IIT Delhi shows that 34% of X users prefer mixing Hindi and English to connect better with followers.

Hinglish Becomes Gen Z’s Digital Language

Hinglish is more than just a trend. It’s becoming a native digital language. It blends Hindi and English naturally, making online conversations easy, fun and expressive. Young people use Hinglish the way they speak in real life, adding humour and emotions that English alone often cannot convey.

Even international creators are adapting. YouTube star MrBeast added seven language tracks, including Hindi, helping him gain over 47 million Indian subscribers. This shows the power of localisation and the growing importance of Hindi in digital content.

As online habits continue to evolve in 2026, the rise of Hindi among Gen Z is not a short-term trend. It’s a linguistic movement. On this World Hindi Day 2026, the choices of young internet users prove that Hindi is thriving (not just as a cultural symbol, but as a vibrant, evolving voice of a new generation).

Hrithik Roshan Birthday: 51 Today, Still Underused? Why Bollywood Never Gave Him Career He Deserved

Hrithik Roshan Birthday

Hrithik Roshan celebrates his 51st birthday today and fans across India are celebrating his long and memorable career. From Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai to War and beyond, he has delivered iconic performances and become one of Bollywood’s most beloved stars. Yet many film lovers often ask – has Bollywood fully used his enormous potential?

Hrithik’s career stretches over 25 years in Hindi cinema. He debuted in 2000 with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, a film that took the nation by storm and earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and Best Actor. Since then, he has appeared in only about 27 films, which is relatively few for an actor with his talent and star power.

Hrithik Roshan Birthday: War 2 Actor’s Career With Big Hits And Missed Chances

Hrithik Roshan has given Bollywood some huge box office moments. His highest-grossing films include War, which raked in over Rs 292 crore, Krrish 3 at Rs 374 crore, and Bang Bang at Rs 340 crore. These numbers show he can attract crowds and deliver blockbuster action films with ease.

But his filmography also includes projects that did not perform well. Movies like Vikram Vedha and War 2 underperformed relative to expectations. Earlier in his career, films such as Yaadein and Mujhse Dosti Karoge failed at the box office despite his charm. These ups and downs show that even a superstar of his calibre has struggled to find consistent hits.

Despite his proven versatility, people note that Hrithik has worked in fewer character-driven dramas compared with some of his peers. Many fans feel roles like those in Super 30 and Agneepath brought his dramatic depth, while many action films leaned heavily on spectacle rather than nuanced performance.

Some fans believe he wasted his potential on repetitive action roles, especially in recent years, and that Bollywood doesn’t risk him enough in diverse parts. Others argue that the industry itself offers limited opportunities for varied storytelling, and that even other top stars face similar constraints.

Why The Potential Debate?

A big part of Hrithik’s appeal comes from his versatility. He can dance like few others, act with emotional depth and command action sequences with ease. These skills could have translated into a broader international presence or deeper dramatic roles, fans say. Unlike some actors who take on different global projects or diverse indie films, Hrithik’s choices have leaned more towards mainstream Bollywood. This has made some wonder if he could have become an even bigger star with different film choices.

At the same time, Hrithik’s fewer movie releases may show his own choices. He has always been known to take his time with scripts and performances. Some insiders say he picks films carefully, preferring quality over quantity.

As Hrithik celebrates his 51st birthday, excitement surrounds his upcoming work. We might see him in Krrish 4 and Hombale Films’ next in the near future. Fans eagerly await the next action flicks, dramatic roles and any bold choices that might redefine his legacy. Whether Bollywood has used his full potential may remain a matter of debate.

Under the ongoing ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ campaign, the Punjab Government has decided to strike at the roots of drug abuse by focusing on education and prevention, with a comprehensive school-centric action plan aimed at safeguarding young minds. The initiative, being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, positions schools and educators as the first line of defence in the long-term fight against drugs.

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, accompanied by former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and architect of Delhi’s education revolution Manish Sisodia, interacted with principals and teachers during an ongoing Capacity Building Training Programme under ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ at the School of Eminence in Phase 3B1, Mohali, where the leaders reviewed the progress of the programme and outlined the road ahead.

Explaining the government’s approach, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that while strict action is being taken against drug smugglers, the real and lasting victory would come from protecting children before they fall prey to addiction. “Education and prevention are our most powerful weapons in this decisive war on drugs. Guarding young minds through awareness, values and discipline is the only sustainable way to eliminate this menace from Punjab,” he said.

The Education Minister announced that from the coming academic session, senior secondary classes across Punjab will be sensitised about the ill effects of drug abuse through a specially designed curriculum. “This structured intervention would ensure that students receive age-appropriate, factual and value-based education on the dangers of drugs, enabling them to make informed and responsible choices,” he added.

Minister Harjot Singh Bains further informed that the Punjab Government will introduce a daily meditation period as a pilot project starting from Mohali district. “A meditation session of around 30 minutes will be held at the beginning of the school day to strengthen students’ mental discipline, emotional balance and moral values. This will help children build inner resilience against negative influences,” he said.

Stressing the role of teachers and school leadership, the Education Minister said that the capacity building of principals and educators was a crucial step. “This training marks a powerful beginning. We are equipping our educators to identify early warning signs, intervene responsibly and guide children away from drugs. Our mission is to protect every child and to prepare them to become torchbearers in this fight,” he stated.

Minister Harjot Singh Bains also revealed that every school has been equipped with a Complaint-cum-Suggestion Box to allow students to confidentially share information, without revealing their identity, about drug peddlers or any corrupt practices shielding them. “All inputs received would be analysed at a centralised level and acted upon swiftly and independently to ensure accountability and effective action,” he added.

Meanwhile, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia shared a few snippets on X and wrote: “The Punjab Government, under Phase 2 of the ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ campaign, is providing training to principals of all schools across the state. This training is focused on creating and sustaining a strong anti-drug environment within schools and on strengthening the mindset of every child so that they can firmly say a clear ‘no’ to drugs, without giving in to any pressure, provocation, or temptation.”

“The objective is to ensure that this resolve becomes a permanent part of their character and stays with them throughout their lives. These training programmes are being conducted across different districts, with psychologists and educationists engaging directly with principals to guide and train them,” he wrote.

Manish Sisodia further stated, “Today, I had the opportunity to participate in one such training programme in Mohali district along with Punjab’s Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. It was reassuring to see that the government is not only creating ‘pind de pehredaar’ but is also preparing ‘dimaag ke pehredaar’ to eradicate drug abuse from its roots and secure the future of the coming generations.”

During the interaction, teachers shared several innovative ideas on monitoring students more closely and guiding them in a positive direction. These suggestions were appreciated by both Harjot Singh Bains and Manish Sisodia, who encouraged educators to take ownership of the anti-drug mission within their schools.

Punjab School Education Board Chairman Dr Amarpal Singh was also present on the occasion. Earlier, girl students of the School of Eminence presented a Giddha performance with motivational lyrics, conveying a strong message on keeping society and Punjab free from the drug menace, reinforcing the spirit of ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’.

Cabinet approves Punjab Private Digital Open Universities Policy, 2026

In another significant decision, the Cabinet also gave nod to the Punjab Private Digital Open Universities Policy, 2026 to regulate and promote private digital open universities offering online and open distance learning (ODL) programs thereby imparting quality higher education to the students of the state thereby opening new vistas of employment for them. The policy aligns with UGC Regulations, 2020, and introduces state-level standards for quality, accessibility, digital infrastructure, data governance, and learner protection. This pioneering policy will expand flexible, affordable higher education and position Punjab as a digital learning hub.

Through this India’s First Historic Reform in Higher Education, The Punjab government has introduced a new Digital Open University Policy. Under this policy, private institutions can establish fully digital universities in Punjab. This is India’s first such policy and so far, only Tripura has set up a digital university, but without a comprehensive policy, so Punjab becomes the first state to provide both a policy and a model in this area.

The policy is need of hour as Crores of students worldwide are learning from online platforms. Similarly, lakhs of students are passing tough exams like JEE, NEET, and UPSC by watching free online lectures. In India too, crores of youth are building careers by learning from online courses and AI apps but the existing university policy only allowed physical campuses.

This meant digital-first universities were not legally possible in India, as a result, students got formal degrees from colleges but learned key skills online thereby creating a huge gap between the two but the new policy bridges this gap. Now students can complete their entire degree from home on mobile or laptop and these degrees will be legally valid and compliant with AICTE/UGC standards. This will prove to be boon For students or professionals busy with life, family, or jobs as they will be able to Complete degrees without quitting jobs, Without changing cities and even Without going to classrooms

Thus a New Era of Lifelong Learning and Upskilling will be heralded thereby strengthening the culture of continuous learning in fields like IT, AI, Business, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Data Science. For setting up these Digital Universities atLeast 2.5 Acres of Land, digital content studios, control rooms, server rooms, and operations centers, State-of-the-Art Digital Infrastructure and others will be required. Likewise, every digital university must have Digital content creation studios, IT server rooms, Learning Management System (LMS) operations center, Digital examination control rooms, Tech-enabled call centers, 24×7 student support systems and a Minimum ₹20 Crore Corpus Fund. This will ensure that Only serious and capable institutions come forward for this adding that Separate bills will be introduced in the Punjab Assembly for every approved proposal, ensuring each digital university is legally strong and transparent.

This policy is modeled on the world’s successful digital universities like Western Governors University (USA), University of Phoenix (USA), Walden University (USA), Open University Malaysia and others who have provided low-cost, modern, high-quality education to millions of students.

Punjab is now building India’s most modern higher education ecosystem to directly benefit Punjab’s Students as it Lowers Cost of Education, Digital mode reduces infrastructure costs,More affordable fees and No hidden expenses. New skills like AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Business Skills, and Robotics will be part of the degree program and it will solve students’ biggest problem as earlier, they got degrees from one place and real learning from another. But now, both will be available in one place through digital universities which will Saves Time and Money for Lakhs of Youth as there will be No commuting, PG/hostel, stationery, or travel expenses. Punjab is leading the country as the state government believes that Education can no longer be confined to the four walls of classrooms.

Every top university in the world is moving toward AI and digital modes and for India to advance, Punjab must take this transformative step first. This policy will make Punjab India’s first digital higher education hub and Punjab will Show India the Future of Higher Education. This policy is Modern, Innovative, Technology-driven, Accessible, Employment-focused, World-class, Future-oriented and will open a new chapter in Punjab’s higher education.
