Supreme Court on farmers tractor rally on Republic Day

Today is the 10th round of talks between the central government and farmers on new agriculture laws. A meeting between the farmers and the central government is being held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal met Home Minister Amit Shah before the meeting. Before the meeting, farmer leader Satyanam Singh Pannu said that the talks are expected to be fruitless.

The government is holding this meeting for show. At the same time, on 26 January, the hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the tractor march in Delhi.

The Supreme Court refused to interfere. The Delhi Police petitioned the Supreme Court against the tractor parade of farmers. Cited law and order on 26 January.

The parade was discussed between the police and farmers regarding the parade. 6 lakh people of UP will get benefits under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. PM Modi has released AAP fund.

During this time, questions were also raised on the expert committee made by the Supreme Court. Alibaba founder Jack Ma was missing since a dispute with Chinese President Xi Jinping and had not been seen for nearly 2 months. After this, there were speculations that either China had arrested him or kept him under house arrest.

While sharing a video of Jack Ma, Global Times described him as a businessman with an English teacher. Global Times wrote, ‘Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, who is an English teacher turned businessman, met 100 rural teachers of the country through a video link on Wednesday. He said, “We will meet again after the end of the Kovid-19 epidemic.”

The Global Times told Jack Ma about becoming an English teacher entrepreneur, but did not introduce him as the founder of Alibaba. It may be known that Jack Ma was founded in 1999 by the Aunt Group of Alibaba.

Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account restricted after violent remark on ‘Tandav’ creators

Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday, 20 January, tweeted that her Twitter account has been temporarily restricted. This development comes after the actor appeared to have called for violence in response to the controversy surrounding Amazon Prime Video web series Tandav.

According to several reports, the actor allegedly said that it was “time to take their heads off,” in reference to the makers of the series. Twitter has removed the tweet.

However, in a strong reaction, she has blamed “librus,” referring to liberals, who complained to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and had her account restricted.

She continued: “They are threatening me mera account/virtual identity kabhi bhi desh keliye shaheed ho sakti hai,magar my reloaded desh bhakt version will reappear through my movies.Tumhara jeena dushwar karke rahungi.(They are threatening me that my account and my virtual identity might get martyred for the country anytime. But my reloaded patriotic spirit will reappear through my movies. I will make your life miserable.”

“Tandav” has come under fire with several people alleging that it provokes communal disharmony and hurts the sentiments of the Hindus. According to the complaints, a scene featuring Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub performing a college play insults the Hindu deity Shiv.

Meanwhile, the makers of Tandav have issued an apology after a complaint was filed alleging that the show has hurt religious sentiments and makes a mockery of Hindu gods. They managed to get all of that from an overall bland show that’s devoid of any impact socio-political commentary. Some BJP leaders are vying to get the show and banned along with Amazon and are of the opinion that an apology isn’t enough. 

Tandav controversy: UP police reaches Mumbai to question makers, actors

Tandav had landed into real troubles now as a team of Uttar Pradesh police officers marked their entry in Mumbai to investigate the case against Amazon Prime Video’s show. The case was filed in Lucknow’s Hazratganj alleging on January 17 alleging that it promoted enmity between people of different religions and intentionally presented Hindu Gods in bad light. As a part of their investigation, the police will reportedly question the makers, actors and crew involved in the making of the show.

According to a report published in NDTV, Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh has officially said that UP team will investigate the case in Mumbai. “We have received a complaint over Tandav. We will take action according to the law. Since it is an OTT film, the Central government must be bringing in laws so that social fault lines are not created,” he told the media.

Tandav has been in the centre of limelight and has been attracting negative limelight for its alleged Hinduphobic content. Earlier, the makers of the series had released an unconditional apology, saying that they are ready to make changes in the controversial scenes that have hurt religious sentiments. Tandav stars Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. It is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who marks his debut with the project.

Sir Ratan Tata can be called the gem of philanthropy in the Tata group. He was the younger son of Jamsetji Tata and the father of Naval Tata, the current chairman of the Tata group, Ratan Naval Tata. The Tata group started thinking about the nation long before the country’s independence.

That is why Jamsetji Tata had drawn the Indian Institute of Science in the year 1898, with the aim of arranging the state-of-the-art education of science. For this, Jamshedji had donated half of his personal property at that time, which had 14 buildings and four land properties in Mumbai. Later the Raja of Mysore also joined it and he gave 300 acres of land in Bengaluru.

Then the Indian Institute of Science, which was formed in 1911, was joined by legends like Visvesaraya, CV Raman and Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha. Such an institution was not even in England at that time. CV Raman received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 while working in the same institute. This shows what kind of research facilities will be there.

Homi Jehangir Bhabha dreamed of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research while working in it and that too was realized by the Tata group. This institute opened the door to research in the nuclear sector in India.

Howrah-Kalka Mail renamed as ‘Netaji Express’

Indian Railways renamed Howrah-Kalka Mail as ‘Netaji Express’ ahead of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 125th birth anniversary celebrations, ministry of railways tweeted on Wednesday.

“Indian Railways is happy to announce the naming of 12311/12312 Howrah-Kalka Express as “Netaji Express” Netaji’s prakram had put India on the express route of freedom and development,” the ministry of railways said.

The order to rename the train was issued on January 19, when the central government had also decided to celebrate Netaji’s birth anniversary on January 23 as ‘Parakram Diwas’ every year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit West Bengal on January 23 on the occasion. IANS

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: PM Narendra Modi will give home to 6 lakh people of UP

Under Pradhan mantri awas yojna ( PMAY – G) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release aid of about Rs. 2691 crore. They will release this amount through video conferencing tomorrow. According to information provided by the Prime Minister’s Office, 6.1 lakh beneficiaries will be directly benefited from it. It is also good news for the public that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Grameen PMAY- G) Rural Housing Scheme 2021, the space for housing construction will be increased from 20 square meters to 25 square meters. It also includes area for cooking, kitchen. Under this scheme, unit assistance in the plains is fixed at Rs 1.20 lakh and in hilly areas the assistance is Rs 1.30 lakh. Pradhan Mantri Grameen Awas Yojana was launched by PM Narendra Modi in 2015.

Apart from home, the beneficiaries of PMAY-G are also provided help like unskilled worker category under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Also, for the construction of toilets, financial assistance of Rs 12,000 is given from Swachh Bharat Mission, MGNREGS or other sources.

This scheme has also been linked with the Central Government and other schemes of the States and Union Government. Under this, Ujjwala scheme, electricity connection, and water life mission etc. for safe drinking water supply have been included in it to give the benefit of LPG connection to the beneficiary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a call to “give everyone a home by 2022”, for which the PMAY-G scheme was launched on 20 November 2016. So far, 1.26 crore houses have already been built under this scheme. Under PMAY-G Rs. 1.20 lakh to house each beneficiary in the plains, while financial assistance of 1.30 lakh to the people of hilly areas (North Eastern states, inaccessible places, Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territories of Ladakh, IAP, LWE districts) Is given.
